@@89SnowK5 yes,!. i'm always wondering what happened to them. im still subscribed to them and waiting for them to resurface. im so glad they are out there still doing these trips and having fun ! !
@@89SnowK5 yea man, I get that. Making RU-vid videos is always turns play into work. Makes me feel better to know that they are still out there having fun! I live on the east coast and watch these videos just dreaming of snow this deep. Also watched all of snowbatman videos while I was building my first XJ build. So, he is a great idol and big deal to me . Enjoy snow season for me please. Thanks for the great videos and entertainment!
Agreed, solid Oregon crew with badass Oregon rigs. Nice to see a group of guys not being total jackasses and taking care of your trucks and our great state
How do those truxus sts do compared to iroks/tsl in snow? From your experience would you say they are better? I always wondered if these were for sand or snow
They are comparable overall with a 49 inch irok in my opinion. Seeming I can do a side by side comparison with my buddy. They certainly are better than crawling. Iroks a little better for hammer down.
@@89SnowK5 Nice I think talked to you guys a few years back on one of our youtube road trips, went over to the shop and checked things out, somebody had a SBC swapped luv. Great video, love the mountains around there!
I tried to go shooting up wadell cr Rd one time, and my little factory nissan didn't make it that far. Parked on the shoulders immediately after turning onto the cap forest dirt road, I'm pretty sure I saw your haulers and flatbeds. I got stuck in the tracks left by a full sized pickup with +40" tires, this I know. Summit Lake park and ride woot woot!
OK, that was kind of interesting, seeing what these trucks are capable of in the snow, none zero number of these trucks are road legal so you're telling me everyone brought their truck there on a trailer, and you put your license plate on the vehicle I say bullshit you can't drive a truck on a road that has tires extended out from the body like that even semi's have to have mudflaps these are completely illegal and if they're completely illegal to drive on the road they're kind of pretty much pointless to even have our own she live in Alaska
Your right, I did trailer it to where the snow started. And ya I don’t have insurance on my rig. But does that mean I don’t take it out for fun on the weekend like any other offroad hobby. And when I am feeling risky, oh ya I drive it down the road. Do I care, no. And for someone who thinks what we do is pointless, you sure did spend a lot of time writing a comment, pretty silly…
OK thanks for the reply seems like a lot of effort for a very little reward I could see motocross or snowmobile's or side-by-side's but not a lot beyond that but, if that's what you like doing I mean have Addit but in a practical world that a lot of it was very little return in my opinion@@89SnowK5
