In this video we give you a brief overview of what it takes to balance a tire, and what equipment we rely on from Hunter Engineering. We also talk about common problems we encounter during the balancing process. We mount and balance tires nearly everyday, and do it on a wide spectrum of lifted Jeeps, Trucks and 4x4s! Seems like both of you don't understand and know how much road force different tires have...guessing answers and not explaining your answers properly...sorry to say, but if you'll are professional you should have a good explanation on what your talking about...🤷‍♂️

The most advanced and easiest balancing is with beads. And cheapest for the customer overall, if you're "other's" focused. At least that's what "premier" and "expert" shops have known for years now. Not as profitable for the shops, but better for rides and customers anyway.

In our experience balancing beads do not work. We will never utilize them or install them. We have a dedicated shop vac here just for sucking out balance beads from clients tires who are unhappy with the result. We have found no better way than a Road Force Balance on a good quality made tire.

I just jacked my truck up and tried to wiggle back and forth left and right. Nothing moved. Got to looking, well shit. No weights at all. 🤨

Can you road force balance a 19.5 tire? If yes can you remove from a F550 & reinstall?

Our Hunter road force balancer hub spins at 300 RPM, so the actual speed in MPH would vary based on tire size but for a 35" tire, that's about 31 MPH

The important thing is that the tire is dynamically balanced. The Hunter machines are known to be the most precision equipment in the industry, and they are incredibly accurate and robust. If there's no need to spin the tire faster to get accurate results, then it doesn't make any sense to have the tire spinning at a risky 70 MPH in your shop. The same vibrations exist at 30 as at 70, they just become more pronounced as speed increases. The computers in the machine can detect these vibrations at 300 RPM and tell exactly what amount of weight it needs and exactly where to place it. To think tires were statically balanced using a floating disc and a spirit bubble for decades before this technology and that was "good enough" back then! Tire manufacturing has also come a long way since those days.
