My Father is Gordon Parsons an Australian born Irishman. He wrote the song A Pub with no beer for Slim Dusty. And many more. We both use to sit and sing until his passing in 1990. He loved Big Tom McBride. I still play Dad and Tom's music to this day.
Big Tom was the best artist in the world for me. Alot of people like Elvis and Frank Sinatra may have had talent but for us Irish Tom was the best, he was our friend and we could relate to that easy gentle Irish man with a voice so gentle and easy listening. I miss you Tom. Keep er Country.
Time doesn't change a thing, miss the king more than ever. Thank you Tom for all the music and memories. you were , you are and you'll always be the King of Country music.
