Loved that tip on taking a small notch out for travel. I have pinched my bar pretty bad a few times and it is such a pain!! Would love to see more videos on avoiding the pinch! Love from Kansas!
The sexiest old FORD pickup truck I've just about ever seen💪 I like your videos as a 25 year born and raised tree cutter i still learn something new from watching you thanks Billy Ray
I love to watch you mentally take a tree down before you ever touch it. Your knowledge of cutting trees should not be lost, but shared with the world. And I see that very thing happening on this channel. I pray that anyone that is going into this kind of work, will study these videos that you have put on line. I can’t say enough how much life and property could be saved. Great job, I love the channel, I love all you guys and gals. Frank hopes that you will be on forever. And by the way, I miss Hogan. Be kind, stay save, and hug Windy and Rita for me. All things can fail, but LOVE never fails. Later dude.
Love your explanations of the cutting process. It was dropped exactly where you said it would go. Another job well done Buckin. Stay safe, healthy, warm, blessed,& productive friend.💯❤️👍🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
Great job on falling, your a great teacher cutting wedging, high side , low side of ground, high side low side of the tree . Love to see ya cut with them rakers down and hungry. Love wins.
Love the videos Buckin, watching them made me go out and get the old 028 woodboss stihl running again, going to cut a few cords for my parents to burn next season here on the west coast of NL!!
Got to have those West Coast handles for the strange side lol ! Good to get out of your comfort zone, there's always gonna be a time when you can't cut from your strong side ! Good stuff Buckin, good to see you back cutting !
Mr Billy Ray. Let me introduce myself I have been a long time lurker on your Chanel. My name is James I am a Farrier a blacksmith a Tree cutter and a Mechanic. I have always been in awe of your ethos your charisma and respect and admiration for your followers and respect and love for the people be kind. My eldest son Arthur he is 3 is a huge fan of yours also and we regularly watch your channel. I’m watching with interest on your forge project I look forward to hitting the like button more and passing comment or even some humble knowledge or experience. I have learnt so much from your channel absolute respect ✊
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith thanks for the reply Buckin ! I can only speak for myself (but I believe a lot of other folk feel the same) - the treework videos are what initially drew me in to your channel, somethin about being outside, on the job with BBR , powersaw screaming , chips flying and most importantly your willingness to share some of the knowledge you’ve accumulated over decades of working in the trade - like to see more of this - really gets the blood going! It’s a wee bit cold here in WNY for saw-work so I’m building some 044 STIHLS waiting for the weather to become more favorable! You really need get your paws on a good runner(ported) 044 or an 064 - some of the finest in German engineering the world has ever seen! Ask Donny Walker - he’ll give ya the straight goods 😀
Root Rot Ron is a never ending source of work 😉 Dang, that Ironhorse 372 snarls! Watch out for those standing dead trees, Buckin ( I know you already know that 🙂)
Great job Buckin’ , l fall a lot of dead hemlock ( hemrot) and the tops often break off , look up get ready to run . Those firs are so nice strong wood never fell one they aren’t here Love your falling videos
I always like your game plan when you get ready to buck a tree. I have learned a lot about it from you. I’ve got one big Oak 9’10” in dia. Close to my house and leaning the wrong way that I’m going to get the courage to cut eventually, by doing wedge work that I’ve watch. Wish me luck. Lol
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith yes sir I will! I bought some merch yesterday from your website I’m excited for that to ship, i know you can’t put your email on here but if you could I would send you some pictures of my first axe I built the other day, you have been a big inspiration in my life brother thank you 🙏 maybe one day I can send you an axe and you can send me one haha but no pressure ✊ love wins
Buckin.. your the man I've learned so much from you the past few years.. I definitely will be buying an axe from you very soon! keep these videos coming.. thanks for your knowledge you share!
Love the commentary BBR. Can hear better and you really teach us when you have that chance to see what we are seeing and explain it all. I was wondering though why you did the back cut first on that tree. Like what should I look for in a tree to consider doing a back cut first?
I can't tell if the argyle sets off the pfanners or if the pfanners set off the arglye....either way it all looks good next to myrtle loaded with Huskys!!! Keep up the fine treemanship!
"Let's not fight." I am a legit, martial arts Grand Master, 8th Dan (Degree) Black Belt. I currently train and teach. You are right; let's not fight. Love wins. Anger is only one letter different than Danger.
