Trick for young and old players I’ve been caught before voltage still reading 13.5 V after two days of fault finding was told to check voltage starting vehicle. Sure enough voltage crashed which meant it dropped a cell. don’t feel bad Cody even the professionals get fooled. Loved the series and love all your trips, Great to see the young fellows enjoying themselves what an experience for them.
The only true way to test a battery is with a Load Test! Yes, a multimeter may tell you it could be no good with low voltage, and it is definately better than nothing!
Special trip - very enjoyable. Lesson learnt always put in a new battery before a trip like this - regardless 🙂 Thanks heaps for your vids. Dangerous way getting the boat out the water. That line snaps and you have 3 people decapitated. Need everyone out of the way of the winch and need a dampener on the line.
Totally agree with you mate, but in this case we were using the max tracks recovery gear and there is zero metal in the whole line. Everything was rated to at least 7 t, and in a static Polack that we wouldn’t have even been pulling 500 kg so we felt pretty safe doing it.
Fingermark/Golden Snapper are my 2nd favourite eating fish behind Trout. When we lived in the NT, we used to throw big mouth Nannies back and curse/move if we came across a school of them! 😒 Anyway, thanks for the vids, and i still think it is the best Y/T channel on the net! 👍
Mate we grew up in Weipa and have been Going to the Pennefather since the 70’s. hunting fishing swimming motorbike girls and alcohol we did it all up there! Loved following your trip and watching the enjoyment the place gave you.

I realise this is one of those maddening semantic comments... but.... Crocs are not the closest living descendants of the dinosaurs 🤷♂ For one thing they aren't dinosaurs. They've been on the planet since the dinosaurs, but aren't dinosaurs.. Birds on the other hand are descended from dinosaurs. All that said I agree they are an incredible animal!
Great series guys enjoyed it, now for the fun police 😩 that winching the trailer was so wrong in many ways I know you have rope but you got to clear people away you had old mate and yourself and the boys in danger, the boys hands so close to the fairlead is sooo dangerous. I also cringed many times about the lack of croc awareness from all of you through the series.Cheers
