Dan you're one of the first people I started watching to gain knowledge of pressure/softwashing. I can honestly say thank you and great job. I hate seeing some of the bigger guys on RU-vid poking fun at you because of the equipment you started off with and some of your content. I lost alot of respect for people who did that, mainly Jason G. who I'm sure like alot of us who just got started didn't have all the fancy toys. But you pushed through, gave people hope and look at you now. All I can say is bravo and haters are gonna hate.👍

Hey Dan, just wanted to thank you for all the information you've given us in these videos. It's been months of planning and struggle, but we finally got paperwork out if the way, insurance finalized, advertising up and running, embroidered shirts and truck decals, etc. The list goes on. Did my first house wash job today on a place practically solid green with algae. The homeowner came out to check the work and simply said, "Wow!" Thank you for the inspiration and info that got my fiance and I started doing this. We're excited for the future. Thank you, Dan!

@@jackl135 just start it up and go. Do it as a side hustle. I started cleaning dumpsters. Commercial is definitely the best route. Companies pay big money to wash their dirty buildings, it’s steady work and they don’t bitch about breaking or damaging something minor

1st time viewer here, but if you have that contract for a while, definitely look into getting a hot water system for pressure washer. The hot water and the turbo nozzle together really do some work on trucks, grease, oil, dirt. Thanks for the video!!

@@karyssacaron2892 I have no clue what the going rate is nowadays. In high school, we washed 18-wheelers. A guy owned a commercial grade system and he supplied the materials and negotiated the contract. He paid 3 teenagers $40 each for washing 15-20 trucks (most included the trailer as well). Needless to say, we were severely under paid as I look back on it.

I’ve been washing garbage trucks for a little over a year and let me tell you, if you wanna make your life easy get the biggest machine you can get your hands on. I’ve got a 8-3000 hot water machine right now and I’m in the process of building a 12-3000. Also a quick tip I’ve found that will make your life easier, I run about a 12” wand with a jrod. Two 0° tips one for soap and one for rinsing as well as a 15 for soap and rinse. Everyone’s needs and methods are a little different but I hope that helps. There’s good money in fleet washing but darn hard work.

You have to re apply the aluma bright to burn off the streaks if you don't rinse from the bottom to the top. Should also apply from bottom to top. It burns streaks when there is excess and it collects together as runs down the surface. Also, pro tip - use baby oil on your hands after washing, that acid eats your hands and there's no avoiding it. Well, unless you use gloves, but who's going to do that? The baby oil just makes your hands less "velcro" like.

I use Roto nozzles every day for vacuum excavation. I use them to dig trenches. At the end of the day if there’s still daylight left I will wash down my machine. After 10 years of doing this one thing I learned is you need to be very careful near any warning stickers or stickers in general. Another thing is any electrical wiring there may be underneath for lighting or sensors. If you have a Roto nozzle within a couple feet of them it can easily chew them up in no time. Very nice work!

Just a heads up. Dawn dish soap will breakdown clear coat over a period of time. As a body man, I've seen it an absolute ton over the years. It's actually really bad on lacqure. It happens in cases where that's all they use. If your using it as an "additive" then you will be fine. If your using it solely for a washing substance then it will occur eventually.

Dawn dish soap is a degreaser. S trips off any and all protective coatings like wax or polymer sealants.

@@ozzstars_cars try it on your vehicles then come back 6-8+ months later then tell me it's just a degreaser. I'm telling you I've seen it destroy multiple clear coats over the years. It would be absolutely pointless for me to lie about it. Just sharing some knowledge I've seen and learnt over the years. Take it or leave it.

@@ozzstars_cars I don't even like using it on my 4 wheelers or side by sides let alone a vehicle. I recently restored a 68 charger about a month ago that the guy recently had painted 2 years prior. He used nothing but Dawn to wash it. He thought it was a cheap clear coat the previous guy used but it ended eating it down to base coat. I showed him numerous pictures I've taken over the years what Dawn has done. He had no idea. I told him to start using Chemical Guys or Adam's.

hey just seen some of ur videos ur almost as good as me when i was doing it we didnt do lawn care we just did pressure/soft washing we did alot of fleets kerns bread,flavor rich milk,pet milk,moores chips,valleydale meats terrys chips an more an we did houses we had a wash crew an a brick crew i did the wash an two other guys we brushed everything trucks homes ect not unless it was a soft wash did it for 8 yrs here in abingdon va company not around anymore (miracle cleaners) loved doing the job never had any issues with customers my boss always did though wish i was able to still do it but cant health issues we used magic wand they do car washes dont no if their still around or not i was doing this back in th 1980s an little of the 90s we used blue bugle was some great stuff an what ur useing we used keep up the good work if u get as good as me i will let u no LOL

We built truck and heavy equipment cleaning slab for Maintenance Facilty at shipyard and the waste from cleaning had to be collected and stored for haul off , treatment to meet environmental requirements. Basically a slab with trench covered with grating, pumps and storage tank. The slab was covered to prevent rain from overloading system.

Man. I was puckering when you had that turbo nozzle near the tuck paint. I used to clean concrete trucks with a turbo nozzle with muriatic acid and then hit it with a turbo nozzle to knock off the dried concrete off them. It would sometimes peel the paint off with the turbo nozzle. You do a great job Dan.

At least $40 per but depends how many you can do in an hour and what type of money you want to make... ($100 per hour? $120 per?) You get to decide your rate and negotiate as needed

I noticed that you looked different, took me a little bit to realize you let you grow your hair out. You sure have graduated far beyond when I last saw you doing house washes, back then your go to tool was 15% SH. Now your doing truck washes with 2 other chemicals. I discovered you have a trucking channel too, so I definitely have stuff to watch. You made the truck look much better. I can't wait to discover your new life so to speak, you seem to have grown much since I last saw you.
