Honestly, genius color choice. I always joke about building a sleeper and wrapping it in the gold/tan color you see old people driving, however, this color on the 335 is insanely crisp AND pretty stealthy at a glance. Sick whipski.
Had an 07 with the Platinum Bronze Metallic color and a black/silver interior. it was a base model. Miss it but glad to have it off my hands. I'll get back in a E92 N54 when I can actually afford to mod/maintain it without blowing a hole through my wallet
i will always stick by the fact that the BEST factory exterior color option is the one you have on your car. i’m happy with mine being black but damn that gold is sexy lol
Gotta love Silver Metallic Bronze 😻😻 makes me miss my 323i. Anyways I totally recommend that you get the android CarPlay unit so you can run your mhd gauges through that instead of your phone plus you get a bunch of other goodies.
Sick build! ST and manual is what im trying to do with mine as well. Those rev matches sounded nice too just wish the car was louder like straight pipe or sumn.
Please to keep both hands on the steering wheel instead of holding the shifter. Powerful cars like this you gotta be safe my man. Don't want you crashing such a sweet ride. Think about what's best for her; they like it when you handle them with care and show that you are always ready to protect them. Awesome car tho👌👍
Subscribed! Great video. Love how we can see the guages and such the entire time. Is that just a regular android tablet by the shifter? Which rods did you go with? THe rods are super important. Also, not sure why someone would go through all that and just drop the stock heads back in :( Our cars are very similar actually, love that interior.

Hmm I’m still not sure abt buying a 335i jus due to the engine and the problems associated w it, would u recomend a 328 r 128 instead if someone’s looking for reliability over power?
I gave up on my n54 after I kept blowing up turbos , but this makes me want to do a fully rebuilt one again, unless theres another better route to take for a 600-900 hp build thats reliable
How expensive would this car be for a 21 year old? Insurance, maintenance, etc? I'm in florida and thinking of getting one because I love seeing povs of this car, I want to drive it myself already.
Insurance is $60 a month for this car. As for maintenance it just depends on what kind of power you are seeking. But usually just do the basic maintenance and you should be good.
You seriously need to get the stock differential replaced, had mine done after a stage 1 tune and it made a huge difference in getting the power down onto the road. The stock open diff is pretty lousy.
@@941garage Fair point, but I think you would still notice a significant difference and it allows you to drift the back end which is huge fun. 😉 Still a great build none the less 👍
@@schrodingerscat1863 I totally agree with you, changing out the open diff would make the car more enjoyable and would definitely benefit at my power lvl. But i want to see how far the stock drivetrain can go 😂.
@@941garage Ok, fair point, that car looks huge fun even as is, M3 power levels in a sleeper like that must really surprise a few people. Looks like you used the SE too rather than the more aggressive looking m-sport spec and kept the exterior totally stock. Have to say for one that has been worked on that much it looks super tidy.
Noice but seriously you are sitting way too far away from your steering wheel. You can just use the steering wheel while stretching your arm. That is not good!
High and low side catch can setup. High side collects oil when your in boost and low side collects moisture, oil, and blow by when your under vacuum(not in boost). And the breather cap has a one way check valve that opens when there’s too mush pressure in the crank case. It’s so you don’t blow oil past your seals and gaskets.
