Sherman Antitrust Act was a betrayal to capitalism. It has to be repealed. I hate what Google is doing, but let government to meddle in business is never good. The same government can turn and crush the thing you hold dear.

Would be nice if there was a "Town square" law for digital public spaces that have more than 2% of the population. Like youtube, facebook, twitter, etc.; instead, we have censorship per request of the government, in addition to the corporation's own censorship goals.

@@user-nm5gw9hf5y In short, it protects the likes of google, FB, YT from liability if they blocking objectionable content. This was intended to screen out obvious law breaking things. Not your opinion on say, CV19, political candidates, etc. As soon as you screen out those things, you become a publisher... which removes 230 protection.
The politicians are the ones allowing these websites to say and do whatever they want, without consequences. We need to start a campaign and pressure our politicians to rescind 230.

Google isn't the best search engine, anymore. It used to be great, but something in their algorithms changed and now their search results are terrible.
The results are intentionally steered to spread their propaganda and lies. It is not a search engine but a platform for them to push their agenda on any and all issues they chose.
The same thing happened to Microsoft. Google is pre-installed on EVERY phone I've bought in the last 6 years. Google regularly blocks things they do not like. That is NOT a real search engine! That is propaganda.

I don’t care if Google is the only search engine, but they need to stop putting paid advertising first. You can’t even search a company and get to the companies website without their primary competitor showing up ahead of them on the list. That’s not a valid search. That’s bait and switch. That’s what needs to get shut down. And then get all the bias out of their search results.

I remember when google was a couple years old. I could find what I was looking for easily. I have to go 7-8 pages now of crap before I find what I’m looking for. Products information it ridiculous.
It's discrimination and illegal. They also need to go after yoootoob discriminatory application of their censorship using "community guidelines" as an excuse. Every time they ban someone for a comment, they should be required to send a copy of the comment with the reason for the ban or block. That way they cannot practice discrimination while protecting themselves from a lawsuit by not disclosing the comment that supposedly violated their rules.
