Whew! It was a big work day for all of the sheep. Hoof trimming, de-worming, fly treatment, vaccines for a few, and the “great separation”-the boys have to leave the girls for a while.
Hats off to my right hand. I couldn’t do it without Mawmaw. ❤️
And, the Lakeland system proves its worth again! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑

Im in Australia and we only have 20 dorpers, I love your setup, it looks like it makes everything so much easier

G-Day, mate!!! 😂 That is so awesome! Thank you for watching from down under! So cool. It’s taken us a while and it’s still not ideal, but we’re getting there making improvements as we go. Do your dorpers tend to give one or two lambs? We’re looking at possibly adding some dorper to our flock to see how we like them. But we’ll need more than 1:1 lambing rate. Busy day at the Still Waters Farm. A pedicure and a foot bath. Plus more. A good thorough job. Take it easy and please don’t overwork yourself. This definitely was a two person job. Glad you had assistance. I enjoy watching your sheep. Thanks for sharing. 🐑♥️
