theory on rainbow friends origin: Pink and Red used to be humans in a regular high school as classmates. Red is quite crazy and he is secretly in love with pink. The love is so strong that he went thru her things and found the original rainbow friends design. He found out that she wants to make a theme park on the rainbow friends. However, Pink is depressed due to people bullying her in the school for being nerdy. Red decides to turn these bullies into the rainbow friends we see in chapter 1 and 2. But in order to take away their free will lots of untested chemicals had to be used. They are very kind and loving to children. Slowly they found out Red's original plan and refused to continue. They wanted Red to have a taste of his own medicine, thus turning him and Pink into one of them. However, since they weren't part of the original designs, they didn't know how to control him, which is why Red and Pink are the most intelligent one of them all. (Which is also why Red doesn't want to be late for Pink's birthday in the most mentioned theory)

Theory on why orange is always hungry: Orange was one of the nicest rainbow friends no the nicest and when red wanted to turn them evil he didn’t need to use much of the chemicals to turn purple, green and blue evil but orange needed lots and he got a side effect where he was hungry he was REALLY hungry from all the chemicals and would eat anything so when visitors came to odd world red would change the sign and orange would try eat the people.
