Regardless of TOP’s “weirdness”, eccentric personality and Marijuana scandal (which is completely acceptable in another coutries) I really think he’s the most sensible after watching the full episode of Radio Star. He looked so concern while he was explaining and telling off SeungRi. And eventhough he’s the oldest, he would still apologise the next day.
Although TOP is my bias, I love that quirkiness, everytime they mention Seungri's absence and changes in behavior he just seems sad. I believe that at this point they probably feel like they failed their younger brother. They are probably wondering how they could have helped him. please remember that bigbang is not solely made up of seungri. there are four other members, whom we should still give our support to. seungri made his bed, despite his members warnings, he didn't listen and honestly he deserves whatever punishment he gets. i'm *so* incredibly sad and disappointed. vips spent, money, time and their lives for this man. it really proves that idols aren't that sweet and innocent picture they're painted out to be. we gave our support and love to him, and he threw it all away. Not just GD, but all of the other 4 had warned him multiple times on interviews and shows. They teased him and made jokes about how he never showed up and hang out with the rest of them. SR has been turning away from the group for years. He lost his passion to continue to work on music like the other 4. His interests are around clubbing, hanging out with his business partners, doing businesses, making money, etc. Top said himself how he doesn't like that SR discusses how to make more money through businesses instead of talking about how they will make music and the future of BB. And do I have to say that he didn't show up in GD's or TY's concerts? It's like he has his own world outside of the showbiz and apparently he cares about that kinda life more than working on music with his hyungs. In that one video where GD predicted they'll comeback as 4, if you take it as a joke it can be a joke, but think of it now, I think GD was serious. I've only been a fan of BigBang for like a week... What can I say, GD is the man.. I love their songs and everything. I'm trying now to catch up with everything they released. I don't know if it matters to anyone, but my opinion is that GD, at least, he didn't know about what was going on. I don't think he is the kind of person to hide stuff like this. What I gathered from this video, is that the members were genuinely concerned and sad. It's just my opinion as a new fan.

I never followed the group closely but when I watched him with Hwasa, I think it was in radio Star, I noticed a lot how much importance he gives to be popular in a group and he probably always felt less so he wanted to become in a billionaire to get admiration in some way and surpass the other members. He could be living a good life right now with members and fans, never quit to the people that love you for money.

VIP since 2008 here. It's not really surprising that he was starting to be less inclined in music and was more into business. Actually, if Burning Sun Scandal never happened, Seungri would have most have likely left Bigbang to start his own chain of business ventures. He was doing well in that area. I think even his hyungs knew that Seungri was more focus in the business industry than he was in music. Some of us already kinda sensed and accepted that he wasn't gonna stay for long. What pissed off majority of us VIPs who have been long time fans of the group is that out of all the things he could have done to leave the group, he chose to exit in the worst possible way, a scandal that was able to rock the entire nation of SK which will be remembered for generations to come. He was so stubborn to stick in the wrong crowd and refused to heed the warnings. It is so sad and extremely frustrating. Like how could he be so stubborn and stupid? I was prepared to accept his choice to leave but not like this.... not in this kind of way.

I just reread your comment in light of Seungri's guilty charge. TOP was more on point here than I thought when I first saw this. Seungri was gone by 2019. It was barely even two years. I feel so bad for my favorite group.
This is so freaky! The interview at 3:00 minutes, it’s like GD and the others predicted that this was going to happen. Maybe they figured or had an idea that Seungri was doing some shady stuff. Sigh. It’s crazy. My favorite k-pop group doesn’t deserve this :/

well, it's clear that they've foreseen this and warn him over and over again, while he stay ignorant. Now that it actually happens, i think most of other members are angry with him. i had nephew who hang out with "wrong" type of people. Both me and his familay already warned him over and over again. SO when shit actually happen, and police got involved, i wasn't really surprised and just let him learn the hard way. it might be cruel, but somepeople really need to learn it the hard way.
