Let’s say to install a Growatt 12k inverter with 2 Condors or Kings, and all the parts to do so, how much would it cost per kWh? @@BigBattery if I am understanding you correctly, to do a system like this equals $355 per kWh, yet the electric company is charging me $0.167 cents per kWh. What am I am missing? Math does not seem to favor these types of systems. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your question. These systems would be installed and operated very similarly in a truck or tow-behind trailer. As long as your trailer's battery compartment is large enough to support the installation of your desired lithium system, you would simply be replacing the auxiliary power system with your new BigBattery set up, similar to what you see in the video. Hi Valentin, thanks for your question! Are you referring to the busbar or the charger? If you're just looking to connect your batteries to your charger, no inverter is needed. You can connect all your cables from your batteries to your busbar, then connect your charger to your busbar, plug the AC cord into any standard wall outlet and begin charging. For the CONDOR Elite, 12kW Growatt Inverter, and 110V 20A Charger, that would be $7,119. That setup would provide 11.8kWh of capacity, but if you opted for 2 CONDOR Elites, you could have 23.6kWh of power storage available!
