The advertisement is hot. .im a Tamiya guy ..and I just ordered the new stampede....whoever is driving did a hell of a job....and the hook is tight....matches everything the truck is doing.
Love this Stampede release. It looks great, it’s equipped well and tough. I am going to grab one to play with around the back yard 2S will be perfect for that!
This version with the HD parts is tough ! I have one with a 4s combo , trx wheelie bar and light kit . Tons of fun stock but even better with a hotter motor esc combo . Loving my Stampede 4x4 v2 .
With the extended chassis its basically a Bl-2 Hoss. The Hoss has the same wheelbase as the Rustler, guessing all three cars will be the same except LCG, HCG etc
The hoss has some other features, 3s vxl esc and maxx motor, and centre diff. This new stampede is only 2s and has the hd kit. Its in the 4x4 beginners range and they made it extremely durable. Ik personaly like this more than the hoss. First play with it and later on smack a 3/4s system in it🎉
The stampede 4x4 and hoss were always very similar. This is replacing the old brushed stampede and has a bunch of newer parts. The hoss replaced the old stampede 4x4 vxl.
@@nate0765 yea I knew the platforms were the same like the rustler and slash also , but it literally has the same body and tires so it’s basically the cheaper version of the hoss with a different name on the side
Gonna miss the old 4x4 stampede, never got the chance to convert my bigfoot over to 4WD before they went out of sale, hope that you guys atleast bring back more kits!
Bring back or remake the Summit to a V2, it's one of the greatest RC trucks of all time. I don't really care for traxxas the company but only like the TRX-4 and Summit trucks.
Anybody rember the sledgehammer I started racing with that there was not many trucks available at that time I had to put a cow magnet in the front bumper to keep the front tires on the ground lol
Me so traxxas this is just a hoss with a toned down brushless system and with the stampede name: Traxxas no this is a completely new and innovative design;
hey guys can you guys get rid of the center driveshaft in the xmaxx and put to dirve links like arma vehciles itll stop the chassisf from breaking all the time
Decently priced although you lose the 3s option. The pics make the motor look like a titan 12t but brushless. Open slots on a brushless motor + Dirt = VERY BAD!
on my max 6 esc it specifically says the drag break setting uses alot of battery. I don't think regen is supposed to use battery. unless traxxas just does do it better, but their escs are kinda poo@@IsaacSchultz-lz8jc
It is the bls version of the rebranded hoss the vxl is identical to the hoss except it comes with the full hd kit and a couple other things but it is the same truck I don’t care though I like the stampede name better anyway
I find nothing wrong with the system being 2S. It isn’t overkill over a beginner, and from what I’ve heard and seen during my own testing of the system, it runs cool enough to gear up the BL-2S cars quite a bit. However, it isn’t quite adequate power for this truck. The price is way too high for these vehicles too. I think $250 would have been a fair price for the BL-2S line. And the 2WD slash BL-2S is way too overpriced. $100 more when the only major change is a 2S brushless system that costs only $14 more than the old brushed one.
The new Stampede 4X4 is still 1/10 scale but features a longer chassis and larger tires than the previous model. Get all the details here: traxxas.com/products/landing/stampede-4x4-bl-2s
Wish I could afford one of you rc cars I've loved them since I was a kid but now as an adult it sick to see where the technology has come. But it's out of my budget
I’ve had mostly traxxas all my RC hobby life since I really started back in 1998 with the traxxas nitro sport and nitro stampede. This does look cool. But the reality is, it’s just a 4wd brushless 2s that’s only capable of going like 30-35mph. And it’s the same price as Arrmas 3s brushless Granite that goes 50+mph. If you wanna win me back traxxas, start pricing your cars more competitively. Why would anyone buy this when you could get a 3s granite that’s just as durable, goes nearly twice as fast, and is the same price as this?
