Dr. John Curatola’s recent book, Bigger Bombs for a Brighter Tomorrow, focuses on American post-war nuclear strategies. In this talk, he will examine the various issues that hindered America’s ability to employ its nuclear monopoly during the late 1940s, including a failure in the ability to adequately plan, produce, train and equip its atomic offensive.
