always fantastic to see a maker update, it's the start of my weekend :) I was running a teapot racing tournament a few weeks ago and one of the teapots had mecanum wheels. At first it looked like it was going to win with eas,e but the course was on a two hundred year old factory flaw with dents and gins in it, normal wheels were fine but the moment of of the mecranaum wheels isnt' touching the floor they become impossible to controll
The Pico2 is a step up from what I'm using. I'm using an PIC12F508. It boasts 512 words program memory. 24 bytes of RAM. And no SPI/I2C. 🤣 I have all sorts of microcontrollers, got given a lot of RP2040's a while ago. I'm using this specific PIC in a specific project that runs on very low mA.
