Hello guys! Here Nicolò from Italy, as always your favorite Italian car guy :D Today we tune the 500 Abarth...I love the new turbo and now the car is...SPICY 😎🌶 #500abarth #remap #tuning
The multi-air engine on the American cars is actually fairly reliable, the things that aren't reliable on the American cars are the turbo wastegate, the factory intercooler setup, and the electrical system lol My tail lights haven't worked in almost a year, I'm going to end up having to custom wire them to a switch and just manually turning them on
Man I love these cars. I had a manual Dart with the Abarth's multiair motor. I absolutely loved it. Had it full bolt on and tune. Hit a puddle one time under full boost and water logged the motor. After about an hour of turning the car over and over (stupid I know) it pumped all the water out. Got an oil change the next day and the mechanic said the oil looked normal. Never had major issues
Hi from Australia, My 595 makes around 200kw with a hybrid 1446 and water/methanol injection. I cannot strongly recommend enough the need for a Prometeo mechanical LSD as it will change the car's drivability out of corners and save those poor tyres from a miserable life of struggling to get grip. Other changes to consider are ditching the back seat, changing those front seats for some Kirky ones, which, while uncomfortable, only weigh 10kg for both and buying a tiny lithium battery that saves another 10 kilograms. I didn't need to upgrade the breaks with all the weight savings.
G'day mate, another Aussie here from Sydney, Looking at getting one of these pocket rockets soon. Was wondering if there is a car club in Aus for Abarth's?
In case you were wondering, the "rotating part" is the two impellers and the *center hub rotating assembly* (the part that connects in between said impellers and makes them rotate, hence the name) responsible for the turbo to work; the *turbine* for the hot side (the side connected to the exhaust headers) and the *compressor* for the cold side (the side connected to the air intake) Hope this helps
Hi NIcolo, I love the Abarth models... I come from a Megane RS ( stage 2 tuned) and I wonder do you have a LSD, because after 200+hp on FWD car , open diff is very very difficult to put the power down. grazzie :)
Good vid , but its not fiat abarth , its just abarth 595 competizione , both seperate manufacture names , and make different cars but nice abarth man 👌👍

Hello! Maybe here in Italy is different from the US, we have some different type of Abarth, the "normal" one with 140hp, the "Turismo" with 160hp and the "Competizione" with 180hp. This one in particular is the "Turismo" but upgraded with turbo, intercooler, downipe, ecu, etc :D
I envy you. I live in Canada and Abarth was only sold from 2013 to 2017. I managed to find a 2017 500 Abarth but 595's are very rare(the few people who own them are not selling) and 695's don't exist here. I want a full option 695 biposto but because of Canada law I can't import one for street use.

Woah man that's a pity :( But if you ever come to Italy, I will be happy to have you on mine! :D
Hi from jacksonville florida in thr usa! Ive had a strong urge to get a 500 abarth. Did i hear you say that america gets thr multiair engine and overseas gets something different?
Год назад
Hello man! I love Florida 😍 Yeah, here the 500 abarth has the T-Jet engine, a really strong 1.4 turbo. The multiair is not so bad, but you can’t make so much power with stock internals. Here the multijet is mounted on the Alfa Romeo Mito!
Im about to put on a garrett 1446 on my abarth 595 , will it still grab good on cornnering ? the tyres are michelin ps5. also the brakes are original 284mm on front , are they enough?
Год назад
Yes, the 1446 is really good. You will feel A LOT of difference, and a bit of lag compared to the IHI, but trust me you will never regret it! Yeah, if you'r not going to the track, your brakes are ok :)
What anti lag system do i need for garrett 1446? do you have a link of one to buy? also i think that the td04 is too strong for this car, because this car is so short and light it built for fast turns ,not a straigt line, so it don't need so much power.

You have to tune the stock ecu of the car, but you need a good tuner.
No no, not every abarth needs to be tuned for corners. There are some builds that want to go fast on straights and I want to see that more on these cars.
People love them because they're fun, not fast. I think you missed the point.

Ahaha yeah a lot of Abarth drivers think their car is a supercar 😂 I also have some other cars that I will show on the channel, the Abarth is not as fast as my S15 or Eclipse GSX but damn is so fun to drive 😂 You must try one tuned some day, you wont regret it! 😛
