Plot twist: Moebius was looking at his art like: "F*ck what is this sh*t*, this is actually better than what I am doing... and he is SO young!... and every freaking page gets better and better! Dang, how long has it been now? I haven't said anything to him. What do I do so he won't get suspicious. Hmm, maybe if I tell him some obscure advice that sounds like ancient wisdom and send him off on a quest to waste his time for some years, I can keep my job unharassed from the below for a little while longer"

Michael Cariglio aka Pappy Drew-it from Pappyland. I use to watch his show on PBS as a kid it influenced me a bunch, and if you left PBS on long enough eventually Bob Ross would come on and I would watch him paint aswell. Nico Di Mattia is an artist I use to watch on RU-vid when I was in high school 2007-2009, he was one of the first artist, that I know of, to do speed paintings on RU-vid.

Movie pre-production and poster art, some game art. I came to appreciate comic art only recently and reluctantly, starting with Moebius. Amazed at how it blends with 'high' art in Japanese and some European classical artists - my favourites too. It's kind of all over the place now.

I probably enjoy these podcasts where you interview different professionals more than anything else you do. Some of the information is golden. I do wish you could go back and do separate programs with some of the artists and show us how they produced some of their favorite pieces from a blank page to completed work, including how the concept was developed, what materials were used, what techniques were used for instance to place figures on the page, what preliminary work was done. Well, I think you get the idea. Thanks again. These programs are great.

Burne Hogarth and Alex Ross along with my art teacher from way back in my high school days Mr. Charles Berry. 6:53 That girl said she wanted to do speed because she could finish art faster but I feel like the time it takes to finish an artwork really builds motivation and stuff like that but she and I must have different ideas of it. I feel like drawing and painting it really build how you grow into art with the time it takes to finish one art piece. Unless its for like a commission for money then I would understand the speed part.

At the beginning I was influence by any How to Draw Manga book that I could find, even one that now looking back it was garbage, then when I start taking an in person course every Saturday I was influence by my instructor Eric David Villamizar (@talleresdedibujo on Instagram, his favorite artist Glen Keane, and a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh! But right now I'm learning from Stephen Silver, Bruce Timm, Oda Eiichiro, Frank Frazetta (thanks to certain someone podcast), Alex Ross, Brent Eviston, and (I'm not trying to be a fanboy, don't flatter yourself) Stanko Prokopenko.

My biggest art influence(s) growing up was sonic and DBZ. I think sonic's artstyle and character design really opened me up to the more radical, urban coolness of the 90s and DBZ introduced me to big, muscle men beating the shit out of eachother. Over time I picked up influences from other things but I'd say those are the catalysts of what made me love drawing
