James is a genius, but he isn't invincible. No one knows everything. This was such a great team. All very smart players and very diverse and versatile. Synergy and teamwork can take down a formidable adversary.
And if you remember in the last seconds of the end of the team’s final chase, Greg accidentally shouted out the answer when he didn’t buzz in, I’m sure that he was glad at the end that he didn’t end up making a $660,000 mistake

This is the kind of challenge-- No. Episode, that makes me cheer then shout then curse my eyes out and have me uncontrollably scream at the top of my lungs by the end of it. I will remember this episode of THE CHASE as one of my favorite episodes of a game show EVER.
Diva needs to give herself some credit too! She was giving a couple correct answers too to help push back the Chaser. All three of them did that! They wouldn't have beat him without all three of them! Great game! The best episode!

I was really hoping James could win because he had like 2 questions in like 12 seconds but then he missed it and it wen to to like 3 questions in 4 seconds. Well played to the contestants tho! 2 of them went for the more money option

As Liz said, you can't defeat James without a team effort. Diva may have thought she didn't do much by giving credit to her teammates but she herself contributed to win their highest share ever recorded on this version of The Chase.
They get 5K per correct answer in the cash-builder instead of 1K, so that would be the equivalent of a 132K win in the UK version. They also tend to be more generous with the high offers. Game-shows in the USA have outrageous budgets. Oops, my bad. I just saw another USA episode and they're giving contestants 25K per correct answer, so that would make the 660K pot the equivalent of 26400 on the UK version. I didn't see the full episode so I don't know how much they started with in the cash-builder.
Biggest win on any English-speaking version of The Chase, and thoroughly deserved too! Btw if anyone’s curious, the biggest amount ever won _internationally_ (if we’re just looking at numbers) is *1.080.000 RSD* in Serbia. But of course, that’s only equal to about £7,875 GBP or $10,960 USD lol…
