Thank you for recommending Blackwell. It is nice to have an affordable book site. A lot of the time the shipping cost to Australia makes me nope out of it. Also, have you looked into Future Girl by Asphyxia? The reason why I am recommending it to you is because every page in the book has a spread. You are reading about this girl who is an artist and so the book itself is a work of art. Future Girl is about an environmental catastrophe and food is becoming hard to get. Piper, a deaf girl, also has now met a CODA (child of deaf adult) and now she gets to meet people like her. It is just this beautiful book, and I think you will appreciate the aesthetic of it alone, plus I really loved the story myself.

All those books sound amazing, will certainly be picking some of them up soon. I really want to read Villette, which I have an old copy of but after this video I put the Penguin English library straight on my wishlist. I love your videos so much and I was wondering you would be ok with doing more videos about you Masters Degree, I want to become a Librarian myself and would love to learn more about the American system (I live in South Africa). i love all the classics you mentioned.. After reading a book, i write a review based on it and i watch that particular movie and i also wrote abut the authors.. I would recommend you to read books of Lucy Maud Montgomery, Louisa May Alcott and others

You should get the Ariel edition that have the poems in the order Sylvia Plath wanted them to be as specified in her last will, rather then then how her husband did, ignoring her wishes and even going so far as removing some poems =)

I have no idea if you will ever see this but if you do I HIGHLY recommend the book ‘Audacity’ by Melanie Crowder, it is a historical poetry book written in the form of vignettes and they are absolutely stunning. It’s about a girl name Clara Lemlich, she was Jewish and lived in Russia but her family had to move to America (New York) and they thought they were going to get a better life for themselves only to find out how bad women were treated in the labor industries. Clara goes on to be a very powerful women activist. Honestly it’s just a really beautiful book that is written in verse and I hope you check it out!!

Aww sweet Lexi! Prayers, good vibes and condolences to you and yours. This is such a heavy time for so many but your spirit throughout would have us believe otherwise, what a bright light you are. Also, this haul is LIIIFFEE ( I sang that haha!). The Gatsby edition was one I had been waiting for, it is beautiful! ok i need someone to answer this there is this middle grade book about these boys who are brothers who run away. They find themselves getting around by stealing and sleeping in abounded shops with this other group of kids. I have never read this book but have heard of it a long time ago can someone please tell me the name of this book

Hello! What an excellent question! I think it totally depends on your preference! In the library and in the bookstore I used to work at, books were categorized first by age group (adult, YA, middle grade) then by genre (sci-fi, fantasy, contemporary) and then alphabetically by authors last name. I categorize my books by age category and then alphabetically, and skip genre completely. But I've been meaning to switch it up a bit this year just to have fun! So you can always organize by color, height, read and unread, and so many other ways! Hope that helps! xx

I read the Mysterious Benedict Society in middle school (there wasn’t a fourth then). I own the first 3 and the prequel and I adored them. One of my all time favorite series to this day🥰❤️

I just finished all of the Mysterious Benedict Society myself. My favorite may have to be the extraordinary education of Nicholas Benedict. Or the first one. They all have such good endings that I began to look forward to the end because I knew they would deliver. And I was wondering wether you would read a book about a family in the middle of the Hawaii 1941. It would be entitled 31 days in Oahu. 300 page YA. I have just started writing it. Hence it will be a while. So sorry to hear about your family member.

If you love Chris Riddell's illustrations then look at the Ottoline series by him, the first is 'Ottoline and the yellow cat burglar'. They were my favourite books as a child and the books themselves are beautiful.
