I like to imagine being a friend in the same map, just checking out the city, then walking up on a nuke in the middle of the street with some npc's standing next to it, and while the question marks are flaring up in my mind, the sirens start blaring and you get that signature heart dropping "oh.....shit...."

If you're watching this and noticing that some of the explosions seem to glitch out by flashing all over the map, that's due to Source Engine's 3D skybox system. When designing maps for gmod, you have the option to build a miniature part of the map that uses a special texture where a camera shot of this mini-map is used to render the area outside of your map for extra realism. The glitchy effect occurs because the particle system created by the bombs goes beyond the map boundary and intersects the 3D skybox placed just outside the map. What's cool about maps with 3D skyboxes is that if you locate it, you can put props and entities in it that become enlarged by the RT camera system. This is a good way to make the already impressive scale of gbombs explosives even bigger.

one of the biggest explosions in the whole gmod for sure is tsar bomb from JMod, it got me on a huge distance from the map itself, it was so far from the map that shadows started to glitch out, and i still died
