nope, its fcked. had same problem with some wood projects, resin was got so hot it was almost boiling lol

Fill the casings with epoxy first. Thats where the air came from

Exactly what I was going to say. Just like sealing a live edge, seal any place where air is trapped.

Project 2.0 will be posted soon. Thanks for the advice. I filled the casings with hot glue and it worked nicely.

I'm still new to epoxy, but I think you poured the clear layer too thick. You should have done it in 2-3 layers instead.
