You need a Fan Mister mounted to a 5 gallon bucket. Mounted to the deck of your boat. One battery lasts about 5 hours, really cools you down. Might not want to use river water. Available Home Depot and Lowes.
The first smaller catfish are the tastiest compared to the big ones. The second fish was a big old lunker and a dang nice fish for the size of the river. We are holed up indoors because of the high temps outside, while you two braved the heat and had yet another great action-packed adventure. Oh, to be young again. It's finger food day at our house. Baked chicken livers wrapped in bacon, cheese and crackers, sliced tomatoes and such!!!!!
Get you one of those big golf umbrellas and install a holder on each side of the boat to hold the umbrella, once the boat stops, place the umbrella in the holder that will provide the most shade and open it, relief.

Yay! You're finally getting some fish- no more skunk dumplings, lol! Yeah, yesterday sucked all around for heat- it's hot up here in the upper midwest too.........and our outside AC unit decided to go out. Thankfully last night we had a weak cold front come through and give us a break from the hot weather. If I remember right, you're originally from Michigan? So you know how it is....anything over 70 degrees and we're roasting up here, lol.
Wanna marry that girl, I had a boat all my life, and even a 25ft commercial Salmon boat for 24 years, and not once did my wife ever go on any boat I owned, very sad story, to see this girl take everything in control amazes me, rock on.
