After we checked in to our hotel, the Belum Rainforest Resort, in the previous video, it was time for our day long excursion. This excursion needs to be booked before your arrival. You can contact the hotel, because they will need to ask for a permit so you can enter the park. (Without this permit, you can also enter the park, but not as far and you are not able to see everything).
So what did we do in the Belum Rainforest? We took a boat that brought us to the Rafflesia Flower. One of the biggest flowers in the world and the biggest flower in Malaysia. We also visited an Orang Asli Village, had lunch, hiked in the rainforest en had the possibility to swim in a waterfall. To end the day, we were invited by a Malay family on their boathouse!
