How is Macca so disrespected by rival fans? He's the only nailed on world class midfielder across both AFC and LFC squads. 3 consecutive seasons now balling out in the prem and he's a guaranteed starter for the world champions. He's played all 3 midfield positions for club and country and walks into any starting XI aside from maybe Madrid's. He might not be a destroyer or have the technical flair, but he is incredibly disrespected in this combined XI chat. The guy is an insanely good (and consistent) footballer. LFC fans don't talk him up because he's just always at least a 7/10 - the same quiet achiever that Gini was. You notice it as soon as he's not playing.
Remember these Arsenal fans said no RMadrid player would get into their side last season. I think in their minds their team is on par with prime Barca with Messi....
I don’t like Diaz and Nunez together it’s to unpredictable. I would play gakpo because Nunez is starting. I would prefer jones as he is more likely to play a through pass in tight space as I think arsenal will defend and sit back. There won’t be enough space for diaz and sobo to operate.

@@BigSixBants So it's an all Liverpool side then currently. Even without injuries I'd say Odegaard over Szobo but only in G/A. Macca and Grav are perfect for Slot and our defence if we swapped these players with Arsenal Slot's system wouldn't be as effective.
