I mean, for dog handling events, you could drag a fake dog round the arena on a piece of string, and for lion-taming you could stick a stuffed lion on a stool and crack a whip at it. And for car racing, everybody just runs round the track holding a steering wheel and going “Vroom, vroom”!

@@GradKat I do it because I think it’s fun to sew them and see how the pieces of fabric turn into your perfect little horse head, and I like to jump high and using a hobby horse makes it more fun. I ride real horses and I do prefer horse riding over hobby horsing.
