Burger King is known for its worst marketing campaigns in the marketing world but it is not always the worst. They are sometimes speaking the truth but people don't believe in them and yet it still becomes the worst marketing campaign.

I’ve studied advertising, going out on a quick limb, I’d say its a good advertising idea, but the wrong execution. Instead of short instant ads people see, it couldve been more of a project. Maybe like a (not too long) documentary explaining basics on how the food contains less preservatives and that its better for you that way could’ve been a better approach for example.

I kinda understand what Burger King was doing. When I was 13, I saw Supersize Me and in the special features, they had a scene that put McDonald's fries in a sealed glass jar. They also found a regular burger restaurant near to wherever there office was and put natural fries in their own sealed glass jar as well and put both jars next to each other to see how much time it would take for both sets of French Fries to rot. Very quickly, the regular burger restaurant's fries rotted with a lot of mold and the McDonald's fries NEVER rotted EVER. Ever since then, I have never had one McDonald's French Fry. My logic with not eating McDonald's Fries is that if it doesn't rot, what is in the fries if the fries even do contain potatoes? So, to make a long story longer, what Burger King should have done is maybe on their website only show a video showing how long their burger takes to rot when sitting next to "another burger brand". I think the mistake was showing it on widely distributed commercials instead of doing it strictly on their website on a video that viewers would have to choose to watch.

Little bit of dishonesty here. McDonalds smaller burgers don't mold because they already have a low moisture content overall. It has nothing to do with preservatives.
