Are you serious? Why should the victims be mentioned? If they want to tell THEIR story they should. We should respect the victims and their privacy. We should be talking about the monsters and the sickos who were clients.
They're not going to talk about that because that's a lot of their buddies and friends. As much as Bill Clinton's names popped up why are we not looking into that.
If Donald Trump was the one being named 73 times on those documents like Bill Clinton was, they wouldn't be giving a disclaimer at the beginning. These women would get right into talking about Trump's accusations. I am not a Trump supporter, I am not even Republican, but even I can see the hypocrisy and double standard.
Sarah is right about the media. They have failed in handling this topic. They post provocative headlines “so and so named on the Epstein list” without providing context, and then bury “not accused of any wrongdoing” at the end. It’s dangerous and indictment on the world we live in.
Agree. Sunny and Sara are correct about critical thinking and media literacy. Just because a name appears in Epstein's documents, it does not mean this person is a pedophile or guilty of any wrongdoing. Epstein was a very manipulative, wealthy man, who networked with many successful, high-profile people across the world of business, politics, finance and celebrity.

Not to mention that Trump appointed to his cabinet the guy who gave Epstein the sweetheart deal after he was convicted the first time AND the guy in charge of the prison where he was murdered was ran by the son of the guy who gave Epstein his first job AND was trump's personal lawyer.
Ok so Whoopi once tried to defend Roman Polanski on this show. Saying when an adult messes with a minor it isn't rape rape. Why wouldn't we believe that her name's on the list.
So many people nowadays don't even read the article; they just read the clickbait titles and base much of their opinions on that or gossip from facebook.
Which is exactly why Twitter added the Community Notes feature. It’s crazy how many viral tweets have to be corrected with a community note. Earlier this week, someone stirred up racial divisiveness by retweeting an old video of a Black girl removing beads from her hair at a sports competition and saying the judges forced her to remove her braids. Over 50k retweets that post got from angry people when it wasn’t even true.
Sara is right about people believing what they want to….. one example: democrats blast Trump for being on the list and republicans blast Clinton for being on the list… they’re BOTH on the list 😂 so let’s just see how it all plays out
Why is ANYONE looking at this and thinking about politics??????? Who cares if they black or white. Male or female. We are the United States. People are just lost if they can’t discuss this without these labels. Where is the concern for the children?

It doesn't mean named people were 'necessarily' involved in abuse but when you have these people alongside '2 females', you have to wonder about probabilities and reasoning behind people remaining quiet if they were part of the goings on that happened on the island. I mean who even has a private island and organises a trip there, all overseen by a now known and convicted child abuser? People must have seen things as the cleaners and maintenance men did but all have remained silent. Questions are not being answered and actively avoided.

It’s pretty concerning that all the awful Puff Daddy/Diddy news isn’t getting covered on the View. Seems like they aren’t allowed to for some reason, which is highly suspicious. An all-female panel isn’t covering something like this..? It’s not right. It should have been brought up several times by now.
I was a young nurse in the eighties. In the female ward was a young woman who had been raped under knife point. In the next ward was the rapist, under police guard. When the woman’s screams alerted the neighbours who called the cops who came out and grabbed the man, the woman grabbed his knife and stabbed him. I worked in the male ward. Everyone knew he was a rapist and the cop even had to protect him in the bathroom. But the main thing was that when he had to get injections, all the nurses pricked him with the thickest needle, didn’t even take the sterile steps. His mother had to bring him food because they were scared of what was happening between the food trolley and the serving. And he used to say nurse what have I done to you? And we had a dormitory ward with 34 patients. The murderers and gang members were treated better. Everybody knew.
So in other words , you and your nurse friends jabed the innocent until proven guilty patient with unsterile needles and possibly poisoned his food . With such upstanding people like yourself , who needs a judge and jury . Could you ask the Clintons if Epstein killed himself ?

She didn't clear anything up. She didn't deny being associated with Epstein and instead talked about other random rumors. Also, Joy was also on the list and never mentioned anything about it.
@2107Slash - Sure. If you read the court documents regarding Trump you will see that the witness stated that Trump was a friend of Epstein, that he wasn't involved in the sexual activity around Epstein, and that he didn't even flirt with Epstein's girls. Any thoughts?

I'm extremely disappointed in the coverage of this topic. I'm a loyal viewer and appreciated the lady's honesty. Because the info contained their friends they whitewashed it. The hypocrisy shocked me
No they're just not morons who want to be sued, it's a fact that you can't criminally accuse people of things just based on being associated with someone.
Nothing whitewashed. It's just a fact that in 900 pages of information you can't go through and cherry pick every name that pops out without noting the context within which that person's name was mentioned.
You people should be demanding the list be released. Everyone on it should be investigated and anyone found to have committed a crime should be held accountable.
Unfortunately, Sunny, information literacy is rarely taught in schools. I think Nordic countries are leading the way in the Western world by incorporating information literacy into their school curriculum. Instead, particularly in the U.S., where we are fed the myth of our exceptionalism (read: supremacy and dangerous lack of self-awareness and humility), too few people have the healthy skepticism and the fact checking skills necessary for a healthy democracy. Instead, too many people are relying on our most savage tendencies based in the flaws of our thinking: 1) black-and-white thinking; 2) tribalism; and 3) worshipping of a fellow human being. The fact that outlets like Fox "News", Breitbart, Newsmax, and other obviously purposely falsehood-spreading outlets have such high viewership numbers tell you exactly how quite vulnerable we humans are to manipulation. So, Sara is right that media and other sharers of information have a responsibility to counter mis/disinformation and to triple-check their own behavior when sharing information.
So glad Sunny made the point Every 30 minutes some news feed is coming out with breaking news that's not on this story. Anyway now, this week, could be today the list will be revealed, and think naming names that somebody somewhere heard. I'm done with this story. The Media should be ashamed.

That list of people may not have known about the abuse going on. Just cuz one is on the list doesn't mean you are responsible for a denied involvement.

Funny how it’s easier than ever to fact check anything. Unlike when I was a hungry student, and you had to go to the library, the newsstand, talk to your neighbor, sit down and have a think.
