Biggest Shad (Bluefish/Tailer) we've ever seen! Fishing on the most Southern tip of South Africa.

Finally we did it! We explored the most southern tip of South Africa, Cape Agulus, where we fished in between the kelp and got into some Galjoen.
We also fished the renowned Struisbaai, targeting Kob (Mulloway).
We slid out some Mullet and my long-time friend (and guide) Stefan Oosthuizen caught the biggest Shad or Elf (Bluefish/ Tailer) we've ever seen! We tagged and released all our fish during this insane getaway! Struisbaai is an absolutely beautiful destination that should definitely be on your bucket list to visit!

Yikes! That is a monster tailor/shad!!! My old man used to tell me about these giant models, he said they're called tailor here in Oz due to their ability to cleanly cut just about any fish apart...thanks for this fellas! How are you boys finding the Pinnacle Boosts after having them a while? We can't get them over here. 🎣👍💪✌

Haha thanks Paul!🎬🎣😃 We don't see tailor this size anymore, just as you mentioned our farthers and grandfathers also used to get these giants but these days it's very rare here in South Africa. We still loving the boosts🎣💪 I actually got 2 now😂🛶 Wish I could send you one because they really are great kayaks.
