You probably already know this but he measures waves like Hawaiians measure waves and traditional feet (when the waves in the barrel form). But definitely 12 to 15 ft faces. Absolute perfect size waves in my opinion.
This is hands down one of the best Vlogs of the year. Waves were absolutely insane and you guys pretty much had it to yourselves. It reminded me of an old school Rip Curl Search video. Shat all over any WSL comp stuff this year. Well done guys.
Aloha Koa...that black ⚫️ rash guard tearing apart @ the very beginning of your morning session was actually a very good thing in hindsight, because that white short sleeve replacement you wore stood out much better & brighter against the waves...this day was epic, by any measure of the word...and, it couldn't have happened to a nicer or more deserving guy...plus, your surfing was fantastic...you're really just now hitting that sweet spot in your surfing, in terms of your still relatively young age, physical conditioning, & superb skills in the ocean when the waves are totally firing 🔥...you are a great Ambassador for Hawaiian Surfing 🏄♂️...Mahalo

Last time I was in Indo, I had a sea snake literally crawl out between my legs while I was sitting in the boat about to paddle out. Thankfully, they are super docile animals with tiny mouths . So, it’s almost impossible to get bit, not that I would test that theory out. Good times and the greatest place on earth!
Yea brah, you see so much irrational stuff in indo. They throw their plastic into piles and burn it, making the whole neighborhood just inhale plastic smoke. It's upside-down world.
I would be honestly terrified if I was in the middle of even a few sea snakes. For one I hate snakes and those are from what I understand extremely poisonous. The waves where about a perfect as it gets.
You should have say something about the gasoline you know when it becomes our safety there is no shyness. The boat that got in Indonesia has hundreds of people in but not one life safe vest. If we will leave it up to them, accidents can happen for sure.
I’m 47 and it’s so cool how it’s all come back around to getting the bazza. Even the soundtrack is a throwback to morning of the earth or keep slater surfing on PS.
