Imo the owners aren't trying to win the league, they're just trying to spend as little as possible and see. I think we've seen that they'd rather come 5th than spend to get top 4.

Matisse forgot that Lavia was on the bench past 2 PL games. He played off the bench vs Brghton for 15 mins. I think it is a suicide going to Anfield with Enzo there and it is not inconceivable to start Lavia. Lavia and Maresca go a looong way back to a city youth team so there is no luck of trust there. IN fact, he was trusted to start vs City.

Liverpool need a number 10. Dont know why this is not discussed. Szob has good energy but the amount of attacks he messes up is crazy. Jones is a bottom half level starter, definitely doesn't start for a top six side.
As much as everyone wants Szobo to be good in attack i prefer him mopping up the oppositions attack,thats why we don't concede alot.Against teams sitting back we need Elliott or a creator behind the striker/front3 and a LCB or Gomez to form a back 3 so Trent can go into midfield to push Macca next to Elliott in a double 10 left and right behind front 3.End up being 3241/325/3223
theres been about 10 games and hes done well for over half of em, ppl overdoing the szobo criticism. atleast give him half a season or the full season imo to prove himself. I think harvey can do a job there too attacking wise, idk bwt his defensive work
If not for FSG greed, a top club like us would have sold jones years ago and got a more expensive and exciting AM to compete with szobo. But here we are a squad littered with jones, elliot, morton and endo.
@@noahide7256 All the players you just mentioned plays in different midfield positions and have youth on their side.Endo doesn't look like a Slot player and might be moved on to get Bajetic(Macca backup)back from loan or buy a similar player to Grav in Jan imo Zubimendi(Grav backup).Morton has talent thats needs to be nurtured.My youth player is Jodan Danns mahn im excited to see him come back.ynwa
