General Sherman is famous for being the largest tree in the world attracts scores of visitors to Sequoia National Park in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. But as incredible as General Sherman is, the Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park is so much more than just the home of one gigantic tree.
This new 4K HDR series will show you the Giant Sequoias like you've never seen them before starting with the best way to climb Moro Rock, the dramatic granite dome on the south end of Sequoia National Park's Giant Forest.
We'll learn first hand how fires and a rapidly changing climate are threatening these living giants. We've lost 14% of these irreplaceable trees between 2020 and 2021 and with fires reaching their greatest intensity in human history, these "god-like" giants may soon be lost.
Can they be saved? I desperately hope so. Their loss would be more than a tragedy.

Another impressive sight, is the SR-198 Amphitheatre Grade, as it invaginates its way, uninterrupted for as much as a 4K' climb, into Giant Forest, from Hospital Rock. Our hats are off, to those intrepid constructing Buffalo Soldiers, under the command of Major Charles Young, I believe, the first Black Man to graduate from West Point, and the first Park Superintendent of Sequoia/General Grant (old name for Kings Canyon NP) NP's.

We will be visiting Sequoia later this year. It looks amazing. We’ve been to Yellowstone, Zion, and The Smokies. We’re looking forward to our trip to see the redwoods and appreciate your videos and helpful advice.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm very honored that you enjoyed my video. also, thank you for asking for permission to use some of my content. It saves me the notifications, paperwork, and copyright strikes to be filed with RU-vid once they identify my content on another channel. Unfortunately, my work IS NOT available for republication by unaffiliated sites and as such I do not give you permission to use my footage. However, I definitely invite you to visit the forest yourself, or other locations near you and capture and responsibly share your own footage of our beautiful planet. Thanks again! Best wishes!
