@@bradd2k2 wrong... you're nobody til somebody kill you. Same time the album came out after, who's to say the audio from this wasn't used to make the song?
Poetry, true stories and metaphors, not just talking cool flashy words and skeets. Hey i like that too, but man Biggie could have owned the early 2000's.
pac was a great artist ong and def was very influential but mane biggie is if you could put poetry in human form that man got me sitting here stunned ian gon lie
"Death controls y'all, Big don't fold y'all, I spit lyrics that'll thrill ya. You're nobody til somebody kills ya." That line still sends chills down my spine. ❤
@@jeezlaweez I truly believe that to. That's why I like that line. "Death controls y'all." It's a true statement for most people. Even Christians who believe in an afterlife. It's more like they want an afterlife so bad that they cling to this religion all in hopes. I know we live for eternity. Death shouldn't control anyone.
@@TheGameChangerit’s crazy that as good as a heart he was he was still a street dude and started gravitating towards he won the war and is taking over after pac. Rip 2 both. “My team in the marine cope and the blue”
This was already perfect, and then you realize he was self censoring his own swearing the whole time until he got the clear to let it slide 😲 the greatest ever! Rip BIG
Wow nice you pointed that out because that makes it alot crazier because it’s alot harder to do censor yourself like that and it’s alot easier when you can curse even tho freestyling is hard period let alone as great as one of the greatest ever
The fact that you can't tell the difference when he's doing this on the album or on the radio is a testament to how incredible he was. There can't be another like him.
@@bizaster20biggzwayne43 i just think diddy did that, i guess this freestyle was made the year biggie got killed, diddy used biggies freestyle to fuel the so called “beef” for album sales!
@@bizaster20biggzwayne43 u don’t undertand a bit what i told u, i said DIDDY took this freestyle and did put it on “Life After Death” album to reach the max sales after biggie died, cuz i don’t think biggie ever thought about dissing pac, in “Notorius Thugs” song he said “so called beef with u know who” it was in the same album, how could he say that type of shit when he was dissing pac in the next songs!! think logically, biggie never hated on pac, pac made it look that way cuz him and suge had a beef with diddy and all that!
@@ariefraiser140 honestly it was a crossover banger. Maybe more underground? It got heavy play on VMB and at Brooklyn mixed genre music and reggae parties, Probably the same across the region.
@@BIGMONEYMEDIA people been smoking backwoods long before biggie started rapping. just because your bozo ass only heard about them from new era bozo rappers just shows ura bozo
I'm high rn (which seems to make me LOVE music, so I was bopping to the whole thing) once that conversation went off and he killed it I realized just how big this whole freestyle was. Keep in mind this the first time actually watching this freestyle. I never had such a omg moment when he finished that last set.
yeah this is unbelievably dope, thank you to the uploader because I neva thought i'd see another biggie freestyle ever again, this sent me over the moon! THANK YUOU
hahahaah nah man, the rhymes are written so it was easier to blur them out as he spit....jesus yall wana put biggie on the cross with jesus, he wasnt THAT good

“Slugs go touchy touchy; you bleeding lovely, with ya spirit above me or beneath me, ya whole life you live sleepy, ya resting internally sleepy, you burned when you creep me, rest where the worms and the weak be. “ That was hard 🔥
A non existing blessing because there is not one word freestyled or spit that wasn’t written on paper and practiced. Sorry to break your heart. You must not be a fan of his tho If I don’t know that already
I was 18 when the Ready to Die album came out. I stood at Tower Records in the rain for hours with 3 friends to get the tape, burning a White Owl. The 90s. Nothing like it.
3:31 I love the way he just slides right back into the beat with the “my man” and with his his smooth flow and exceptional lyrics he just gets back into the zone. RIP to Biggie. A true legend gone too soon.

That freestyle in Hot ( pac just got killed) ass L.A got him murdered, smh. Puff daddy set that man up, 2pac still my #1 of all time, but i have to admit Biggie had the better lyrics, flow, and was a better storyteller, shit why do i like tupac better again 🤔
Biggie had such a great flow and how he linked each line together was something I don't think any rapper did as good as him. For me he is still one of the greatest to ever do it.
Listened to this so many times and somehow always missed this line: "as I leave my competition respirator style, climbed the ladder to success, escalator style" 🔥🔥🔥
I get a feeling theirs a reason why Biggie didn't release those tracks. Hes an artist. Maybe he felt they weren't his best work or maybe its sumthin else.
The GREATEST rapper of my lifetime! Every album he dropped I would end up knowing every word to every song. When “Ready to die” dropped it was game over! And at that time the East Coast was killing it and Biggie was on the top of the whole pack. How many rappers out you know their whole album back to back and every album after that? He’s the GOAT! We lost him way to soon and to imagine what he would of accomplished that we will never know. R.I.P. B. I.G. 🙏
@@outlaw6065 It’s true tho. Old heads be hating and generalizing cause times changing. It’s plenty of talent out here. But it’s easier to talk shit then look at what’s good.
