Not Papa, probably Big Brother, Uncle or Cousin. Orcas stay with their mothers, regardless of gender. Mating does not take place within the family group. But, I agree with you - adorable behavior from the baby. So stinkin' cute!!
@@AGDinCA If it's a Transient, it might have joined a mated pod. Transient males & females leave their mums. In fact a male will belong to a line of several pods in his life time. The reason is it keep the pod small. Very handy to hunt in total silence for prey. Each ecotype has different social behavior. They are so different, eventually they will become separate species. The total opposite is for the resident pods. When two ecotypes encounter each other, they either ignore or avoid. Absolutely no contact of any kind.
Omg those ladies sound like I would be: so happy & excited for the blessing of this close and purposeful encounter! They're Showing Off! This is the ONLY WAY to watch these beautiful Beings! Oh they Thanked the Orcas!!! Best vid ever!
The funny part is, I bet those 0rcas are saying to each other "I wonder what aII that screaming actually mean?" There must be a pattern to their verbalizing. 😆
Just never visit one of those terrible places having Orcas or other animals in captivity. Never go there, never take kids there, and spread the word. By not going to those places - that is boycotting them, we could make those Seaworlds out of business.
@@pufifa sadly years ago before knowing what i do now i actually have been to a sea world and yet it was breath taking to see them so close i much would have rather this experience were the orcas did that because they wanted too not because they had too, for the record would NEVER go there ever AGAIN.
@@fourty4134 would I ever been near to one of those businesses I would have hard time not to enter and see these majestic Orcas up close, if I am being honest. I live in continental Europe and we have no place like that over here. But I am so deeply fascinated by the Orcas, that I have it on my bucket list - to see them in real life in their natural habitat. I'll probably go up north in Scandinavia or anywhere I don't really care, but I need to see them, I am trully amazed by them I can not exactly figure why, I just spend a lot of time watching them here on YT. :) Cheers!!!
@@pufifa , It's a sad and heartbreaking experience . There is nothing to feel good about when you consider the miserable lives that those Orcas lead. Watch Blackfish , you'll see.
These Orcas are definitely giving you all a show & enjoying the attentions! Probably thinking a few fish with that applause would be nice! 😂 ( I know you can’t feed wild animals it’s a joke!)
I think they slapped their tails in irritation to the screaming woman! They probably would of stayed longer but took off because of her loud uncalled for screaming.
Where are the marine biologist that study these orcas to identify which one is who? They have a book on the dorsal fins to identify these beautiful animals.
Ladies , is it really necessary to scream like idiots ? The Orcas don't like it and neither does anyone else. It's great to be excited , but that doesn't necessitate screaming. Thank you , Humanity.
