I bought mine in March. I have the version 1. The motor on mine is direct and completely silent. Not much torque but a little more speed. 42mph. I have 3400 miles on mine. Best bike by far.
@@MrCentralDriver The one I got was for 1400.00 it has one of the very first ones they put out. It had problems, but I never leave a bike the way I got it. I put a NB 3k motor and a better controller on it. It is the wife's bike she is 5'6'' and it fits her pretty well, the only thing she wants me to change is the handlebars so that they can be pulled back more and she can sit more upright. If you want a motorcycle-looking bike and you don't want to build your own, this is the bike for you.
Thanks to MrCentralDriver for sharing the detailed and pertinent video. Hello everyone, this is our BIGNIU official. If you are interested in our BGX and want to know more, please feel free to interact with us~ Happy riding!🥰🥰
Been waiting on this review been shopping for the right ebike for last like 3 months im torn between the revv1 and the motor goat but this bike looks amazing
Nice job buddy. And I forgot to tell you the front forks also has rebound adjustment on the bottom of the right fork. And it matches your car perfectly lol. And yes that display they are fixing the issues with speed display going to 0. I'm glad you got one and maybe keep it and upgrade it like I'm doing with a 60v62.5ah and 5k motor with a 100a controller. I fig you would like it that's why I pushed to help get you one to review.
If you get a motor that’s geared more towards higher speed and run a hell of a lot of amps through the controller then yes it’s possible on 48v. Nowhere near as efficient on the battery as if it was 60v though. I’ve had a 48v build going 45mph by using a peak 100 amp discharge battery and a 70 amp controller.
Thanks for the video had my bignui a couple of weeks now couldn’t figure out how to engage the the throttle after being stopped for a few seconds thanks you
looks clean and would be fun for the beach but they could* have added a brace in the center frame that sits just above the chain to mount a 2nd battery or the original battery to keep the center of gravity lower. I think your rough ride and some of the sliding is a combo of the fork angle and probably super stiff rear shocks and the weight not necessarily the tires.
Iv had the bike ver1 (no motor noise) since May I ordered on a fri had the bike the next fri thanks to Oldman e-bikes I got this for $1500. I have 800 plus trouble free miles I get 75 miles range at 17-18 miles an hour in mode 1(mostly throttle) (bike came set with 3 modes) iv tested this 5 times. I ride this bike on the bike path so I'm not out for speed this is a $2000 bike all day I love it. fits in nicely alongside my Harly
Not sure if it's more considered an ebike or moped. okay, but that would be another one of these choppers for me to make it a DIY rebuild on (keep the frame, remove nearly all parts, most importantly have the motor or controllers replaced and some accessoires). Not certain if this vehice is road legal here or if it comes with a COC to have it registered. Looks great tho.
I'm really digging your vids man. Thinking I'm going to get the Ariel Kepler as a low-key but fast commuter ebike here in FL. It'll be a 23-mile commute one way. Is that a good bet, or do you recommend something better?
Everything looks great but the brake light looks pink when not pressing the brakes. Looks bright when you use the brakes though. No issues to work tho. Everybody was loving it. Even got a co worker to ride it
hard to stand by happyrun tbh. They have a cool new g100 pro bike thats worth checking out, However they don't work with me anymore because i made an honest review on the g100. If that doesn't tell you something then... lol. but either way have fun with the bike. the g100 is dope just some flaws
You always have the most thorough reviews on RU-vid!! Can you please tell me the seat height from top to ground? I'm a short king and cant find the info on their website
I have the bike and totally agree with hving to hit the break for the throttle to activate..a lil annoying..and to hv higher handlebars wld be great..im kinda use to the motor by now..but yeah alot of fun riding the bike..
@@MrCentralDriver if it’s a 52v battery then yes, 48v only charges up to 54.6v though. If this bike had a 52v battery it would probably reach low 40s MPH instead of 38.
🐍 I have the same display & fried my weakazz controller on my Fabulous ebike. That controller sounds like what I need. What's the brand/part number of that 40A controller❓️
The v2 sucks I just lost my v1 thing was the best bike I had they need to go back to v1 motor and shocks I miss it so much I rode that bike everyday now I have nothing but great review on bike knew you would like it
@@oldmanebikes8392 yes it’s a lot easier with no gears because there’s no damn derailer to deal with. Sometimes people can’t get the derailer back to normal after they change a flat. Yes it’s a lot easier.
@@MrCentralDriver Yeah I just got done watching the video 38. My Fluid Vista Scooter marks 37 but I can get it up to 35 or 37 depending on the terrain or wind
