Hint, just use the small molded pin (found on the underside of the platter's edge) to hold the belt in place while reinstalling the platter. Once in place, just spin the platter a could of times to help slip/seat the factory band onto the brass motor pulley.
I saw a video where swifstyle installs the solidcutz aluminum platter and he leaves the stabilizer under it as well. I got the solidcutz as well but it is still wobbly smh. I'm guessing if I add this ring it might be more stable?

Hello i have one. I dis everything with washer, put a rubber ring inside etc... it s working for a time and then the driving belt fall off from the center not from the little white pin... any idea ?
Whats good my skratch ninjaz, quick question, cam this also be put inside the Reloop Spin Portable Turntable, as well?? Its basically the same measurements as the Spin, just gotta take the belt off of the Spin, prior to modification, from what I'm seeing. But yeah man, I bought a Solid Cutz Platter mod, its great, just wanna make it even extra stable, for non-movement with the platter, during skratch sessions, ya know, & haven't been able to find this, tik now, but have a Reloop Spin Portable Turntable, cool man much appreciated...... 👍💪🙏😎
Khena hey man! Please try to add bigger washers or remove the self-adhesive tapes. Every 0.1mm counts. Will be perfect when it contatcs only when you scratching. Without scratching it needs to turn free.
Actually I didn't know the white pads were adhesive since the video doesn't mention that, now that i glued the plastic ring down it seems there is no more noise when the platter is turning by itself, when i put a bit of pressure on it there is a slight noise which doesn't really bother me, thanks Oh and i didn't get the 4x random colored felts in the package, just thought i should mention it.
It may be so late, but they are originally from the classic The Honeydrippers - "Impeach the President" breakbeat. Anyway, if you want exactly those, they're in the Bionic Booger Breaks vinyl (all the audio on this video is a side RIP): www.discogs.com/Darth-Fader-Scarecrow-Willy-Bionic-Booger-Breaks/master/786678
