The family did the right thing by turning down the invitation to return to the parade. For one, the experience will no longer feel special for those 2 little girls or their family. Do you know what it consists of? A contractor comes to the company for an hour-long meeting. Contractor shows you some corny b.s. film, they give you some paper to sign and that's that. For starters, if this is they way they're going to proceed, why not have a diversity officer on staff, measuring the success of actual projects or pointing to the race ratio of its staff? This has always been our problem with getting respect and true Justice.They feel that we will always bow down when it comes to money.Because some of our people have been conquered and defeated by the bag. Their biggest nightmare is when a black family or a black individual says no to the bag and says yes to getting Justice. Too many of our people bow down to the bag. Sesame street has disappointed me. I grew up in the 70s and while everyone else was outside playing I was learning to read watching sesame street before I even hit the 1st grade. This world is not my home.
