Jason, I think you have one of the best looking low rider s with the modifications you have done. I could watch this video 30 times and not get bored of it. Good stuff!
Just bought my brand new 2024 lowrider S after a test ride. I couldn't go back to my iron after. Love the bike so far and your videos really helped with my decision. thanks man!
I got the LRS for the same reasons. Also started on a 2020 iron 883, and traded in for my 21 FXLRS almost 2 years ago now! 😮 I've done the usual mods. Memphis Shades fairing, 2 up seat, i got the patriot bags from viking with some metal brackets from Trashin. Put a 1 finger clutch on mine and can't recommend it enough. Biltwell Murdock risers for the old school look, and a few more things. I haven't really done anything to my bike in a while now so it's getting time to. Was going to do a stage 2 next, but I might go with that rider mode gadget you and a few others are doing? I have heard nothing but rave reviews about it. I can't imagine i will ever part with my LRS.....it's just too cool, and I feel like im just getting started with it after 2 years.
The bike looks great! I just got a 23 FXLRS a few days ago and she’ll be sharing the garage with my Indian Pursuit. Looking forward to what you think of the Advanblack ST fairing. Safe riding.🤙🏽.
I also have a 2020 Lowrider S but mine has the S.E 131 kit installed. I've been considering adding a fairing and have plans to go with the Advanblack ST look-alike fairing. I'm not sure what I want to do as far as bags go, but I will be adding those as well.
How’s the SE 131 kit? Is it a noticeable improvement in power? I’m getting the same kit put on my 23 low rider s. How does the bike sound with that 131 kit in it? Does it have a lope like other aftermarket cams? Cheers
@@D-doggy77I really don't feel like the idle has the choppiness that a lot of cams provide. There is a noticeable increase in power from the 114 that mine started out as.
This bike looks so good. I’m gonna get a Harley next year. I’m constantly back and forth between the Street Bob and this. I just hate the Street Bob has a smaller tank. They both look amazing though
Didn’t look like you had it, but you should definitely get the Greene brothers rear brake linkage or whatever other company offers it. Makes your rear brake functional.
I’m 19 and the low rider s also got me into Harley I just started riding so I got a street 500 but in about 6-8 months I’m def getting the 23 low rider s, since there is no big different between the 23 and 24
I got a real good deal on a 23 lrs, it’s getting a heap of stuff done to it before I can legally ride it in a few months, these next few months are gonna drag because I’m hanging out to ride it lol.
You’ve definitely put a lot of work into your ride. Congrats it’s coming along beautifully! Have you ever upgraded the suspension? What has been your longest ride? How comfortable was it?
Thanks man. It’s been a journey for sure. I haven’t upgraded the suspension yet, I haven’t felt the urgency to upgrade the suspension but it’s on the list. I’d say my longest ride was 10-12 hours or so and it was pretty comfortable with a few breaks in between.
Not bad at all. I remember you bought it used, so I guess the better question should have been are you running stock suspension? Either way 10-12 hours on the bike and feeling that level of comfort is pretty darn good. I just finished watching your other video about 5 reasons Harley riders are loyal, and I think you’ve just helped me along in a huge decision. As always I appreciate your content and your insight. Keep doing your thing!
Thanks! For me it’s not worth the upgrade. I’ve already invested quite a bit to make my low rider s exactly how I want it. The only thing I’m contemplating is the st fairing. But if I didn’t have my low rider s, id consider getting the ST.
I am also a shorter rider too around 5'5-5'6. How comfortable is the low rider s for a shorter rider? Does changing out the stock seat to a saddlemen help? I always wear riding boots and that helps too.
Question buddy I did my stage 2 as well sns 475 but I keep getting code p300 rear knock sensor. Did you have same issue when you did your stage 2. Maybe you can guide me to some fix. I get a check engine light.. I have had 2 tunes from fuel moto. One high gas release which killed my gas mileage and second tune rode better and my gas mileage went up which I love but I still got same code after 50 miles. Anything could help. Knock sensors I swapped them front to back and still sends me to rear knock sensor so I think it’s a misfire and I also changed spark plugs. Any advice could help
@@Soulriderpowder I ended up getting an2017 sportster 48. But then I traded it in again for a scout bobber. And now I want another sportster. Lesson is - don’t sell your sportster
I think there has only been one - the bolt on the shock adjuster. The only problem I have had with my 2021 is a shaft seal leaking in the primary in the first 500 miles, which was replaced under warranty.
