Thanks Loic.. very cool. I agree, the feel and performance of Magura's is unreal. I had to move on though after breaking 2 of the plastic lever bodies, both times on slow speed tip-overs in technical rocky sections. I'm not a good enough rider for Magura's apparently.
Il est sublime ton bike. Quand je vois ce bleu je sais pas pourquoi, ca me fait pensé au tout 1er Sunn Radical. A l'époque les Sunn étaient souvent bleu electrique ou chrome, c'était des bijoux .
excellant et es-ce que tu pense que Magura vont aussi faire un système de dual levier comme l'ont fait Hope avec les Hope tech 3 dual levers car j'ai un handicape comme une petite minorité et la marque Magura à l'air très intéressante dans les frein
Thank you Loic for explaining your levers. since i have really small fingers my problem with the mt7 is that i have to move the levers closer to the handlebar which means the travel is less and often it'll even touch the handlebar on hard braking. Also it feels spongy. it's always been a as near as possible but as far as it can get game which is annoying and also stressful for my fingers and i think with your levers it'll sort out this problem so i'll give them a try. :)
Sympa de tomber sur ce check justement quand je cherche des détails sur les MT7. Si jamais tu passes par la et que tu as quelques secondes pour répondre ca serait top :) : J'ai vu que tu n'as pas les molettes de réglage du point de contact. C'est un choix ou d'origine sans ces vis le point de contact est déjà au plus court ? Je demande car je viens de sauter sur l'occaz de commander les MT7 Raceline 🤩 via mon bikeshop et apparemment même sur ceux là les molettes ne sont pas présente d'origine mais je sais qu'on peut les commander. I was shopping these, and then nobody could tell me what clamp adapter I needed for i-spec levers. Sure Shimano dropped the bomb with 3 different variations of i-spec but it sure is tidy. So I bought XTR, did a proper bleed peachy.
C'est marrant que tu sois sur des magura pour un toucher on/off, est-ce que la marque n'est pas justement connue pour la progressivité et la modulation de leur freins?
Rien que pour ton humour frenglish je mets un gros like! 🙋🏻♂️Mais plus sérieux, et rien à voir avec les freins 😂, pourquoi en DH tu roules en roue de 25mm de diamètre interne, comme la majorité des pros d'ailleurs? I'm not hating, but as a Magura customer, I have some serious pet peeves with their gear. Out of the box they're brilliant but the plastic leaver bodies WILL fail on you eventually which is a major safety concern. Fortunately mine only became leaky after about a year, while one of friends simply snapped during normal braking in the city. If that had happened on the trail, it could've caused severe injuries. Further, their brake rotors are notorious for singing, squealing and chirping under braking. So, if you wanna go the Magura route, use Shimano leavers (Shigura) and literally any brake disc other than the HC storm. I can't say anything bad about the calipers. Never had a brake with more bite and more consistent than them.

isopropyl alchohol the shit out of the brake pads and rotors so there is no oil residue or anything left. They will squeak at first afterwards but if you get them nice and hot, find a big hill they will get silent again.
Well love Maguras but the price of replacement levers are the same as one MT5 complete brake, a bit weird. And concerning your attempt on Danish language in the end there needs a bit of work :) Cheers from Denmark!! We know you need it!
