Our last in a series of three videos in Chicago, Illinois exploring exclusively by bike and foot. Each day begins and ends at our RV Campground at McCormick Place, each day is filled to the brim with adventures, exploration, food and of course drinks!
Chicago is an amazing city and I can't think of another major town that has so much accessibility for an RV traveler.

this is why I LOVE the great lakes. you guys can do a lot of cruising up there on your catamaran. There are a couple in our parents marina.

I really enjoyed this. We are from the Chicago area and I've never been to that Pizza place - of course we have been to Uno - Duo etc. Lincoln Park is an outstanding zoo! We were back home in August and went to Brookfield zoo west of Chicago instead.. But my favorite is Lincoln Park. Just a great great zoo. I think that Marlin Perkins was the curator at one time (Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Start. Thanks for the journey back home again!

Great insights into visiting Chicago. I love those bikes. Here's a great date night for you. It does require some planning ahead. Make reservations well in advance for the Second City comedy club. It was the proving ground for many of America's great comedians. Make reservations at the Adobo Grill next door. Enjoy some of the best Mexican food in America before going to Second City. I'm from Dallas so I was extremely surprised to find this one in Chicago. Take the Brown line elevated subway to a stop about 200 yards from your destination. The Brown line gives you a taste of old Chicago.

when you visited Chicago, you were only about 60 miles from my home town! Michigan City, Indiana, right on Lake Michigan. On clear days you can see the Chicago skyline from the beach there. If you traveled east on 80/94, you drove right through the southern end of town!

Love Chicago .. it's our favorite road trip destination via US-12 from Michigan .. we're here this weekend (Aug 29, 2015) to mimic your adventure to city zoo and butterfly conservatory (a first for both), but we found the perfect place to park using SpotHero app, which put us 15 cycling mins from zoo .. it's a large (mostly level) lot with unrestricted in/out, near strip mall and very close to downtown, and cost only $8 per space/per day .. our Class A is 31' which needed 2 spaces .. super easy to reserve via app (unlike McCormick Place) and much cheaper .. Thanks for the vids!

Enjoyed your trip. Thanks for sharing Who and how do you plan them? I'm hoping in 2016 to get an RV and travel full time just got to figure it all out. not sure how to deal with not having an address , insurance, my pet (3) that will be coming with me. Most important kind of RV to meet my needs. Sure am glad your new project is the RV's. We need better choices, smaller more convenient ones that can meet earth friendly people mindset and don't forget pet friendly for our pets. Would love to see area were I could put creates and litter boxes .
