After digging through SD cards last week, I came across some files of my old bikes dating back to my childhood through today. Though I never was a pro cyclist, I can confidently say I am an average American Cycling Enthusiast and have spent considerable time in the saddle and on the work bench wrenching bikes. Join me as we explore the journey I took from 1997 into 2024 and all the Bikes that came and went along the way. My biggest regret is selling that Pre-Trek Klein Adroit :-( damn those things are selling for $$$$ these days! Also, I hope to someday find a Kinesis Maxlight XCPro2 frame again soon to build up as a beginner bike for one of my kids. any of you fellow bike nerds want to reminisce with me? Let's talk about your old bikes down in the comments. Ahhh the good ol' days!

I just stumbled upon your channel and enjoying it! The number of bicycles in my stable over the years pales in comparison to yours. That said, one bike that holds a specials place in my heart was the 1995 Trek OCLV road bike I purchased brand new. I kept that frame for well over a decade and it served as the foundation for many different components throughout the years. From Spinergy Rev-X to Mavic Heliums to Nible Flys, along with three generations of Shimano groupsets. That Trek tollerated my weight weenie, Marco Pantani and Lance Armstrong phases in the 1990s-2000s. The frame finally gave out on me in 2006, but Trek honored its lifetime warranty and replaced it with a Madone 5.5 which I still have today.

Love the channel! Thanks for not having obnoxious music in the background, like so many other biker channels.

Haha thanks for watching and following along! I’ve noticed in my past endeavors that videos with music Dont perform great unless in just small transition sections. So I will be keeping that in mind. Have a great one!

@@BikeVanDad yes I agree. For me personally it's just way easier to follow along and concentrate when there is no background music. Maybe it's my ADHD. Thanks for listening. Your videos are great and very informative keep it up.

That Klein was the Ferrair of MoutainBikes, and they were so cheap too, if u compare to how much bikes costs today that is. A klein attitude race or adroit race with full xt and judy xc was 2000€.. now a pretty much top tier bike is 3 times the months salary.

Agreed. I think I bought that Klein frame set (frame fork and stem) for around $500USD and it was the best bike you could buy at the time! Thanks for following along!!!
