I’ve had a couple of Schwinn bikes over the years. First at college, a 10-speed. Got me everywhere from work to class. Listen to one of the first Sony Walkmans while I road and found out I was public enemy number one in the school newspaper editorials. I never hit anyone. Can’t imagine why. While in the Navy I had a couple mountain bikes. Road around Washington, DC, from the barracks to the capital building and from my apartment to the capital build once I got out. About a 10 mile trip. 16.1 KM. Now, I need a memory foam Kardasian size cushion seat. 😂
“How do you cross the road here”? 🤣loved that question ..... with the easy answer of “just wait for the gap” haha it’s not always that easy in Bali. Great channel, best wishes.
Hey Waz...It would be nice if the tour companies put us on a bike like one of those ..while doing a tour around Bali...Usually get a bum killer and the wrong size.🙄😆..
Wow.. Didn't realise bikes could be so expensive. Can I share a tip? When talking with women your age or younger, it's usually (though not always) fine to address them as mbak. Ibu can be misconstrued as a piss take (although it is very polite). Mbak is Javanese but understood by most Indonesians.
As far as I know, mas is common for men your own age. Bapak or Pak is like Ibu; polite. Mas is from Javanese , which has heaps of honourifics. English is quite boring in this regard. It might be useful to learn the Balinese terms of address, to cover all bases. ☺
