I’m always amazed and jealous of how sprawling your city is and how little traffic is around. Your vlogs are how I relax after my feisty commute and it’s always a pleasure.

I live in St Louis and know most of the streets on the East side of Forrest Park; St Louis has superblocks that isn't bad for biking, but crossing superblocks onto these arterial roads of death (as I call them) is dangerous.

Same here, Paul! I'm also always a little jealous of him, where I live (Southern Brazil) we don't have any cycling infrastructure whatsoever, and it's very hot and hilly, so, not so inviting for bike rides (although I do it quite often during the colder months). I love your videos, Bike Blogger! Make me want ride more.

The ground you encountered earlier on in this video is the reason i don't use anything under 38mm tires. The roads and terrain in St Louis area is just too rough. Nice video!

I freeze two 1 liter water bottles the night before, and it works great by putting them in your jersey pockets.

Do you come off your saddle or just foot down when stopping at lights? Luv your bike vlogs conversation is awesome!

Off the saddle because although it's the right height from saddle to pedals on the bike, off the bike it's too high - as is usual when you have your saddle at the proper height (slight knee bend when pedal at the 6 o'clock position).

Hi. im fascinated by all the scooters just parked up anywhere. Are they rental? here in the uk you you worry about your bike even if its locked securly. I ride an electric bike i converted because i've cycled all my life but cant peddle for long now i'm older but still love to get out on my bike. i only ever leave it when i lock it at work where its in plane veiw of where i sit.

I do that Bird charging gig: I walk (or unicycle) to the scooter, pick it up to charge it. $3-$7, it's like recycling aluminum cans, I usually get between $27 to $50 per day for about two hours work. I did calculate the cost, and it's really a case of go big or go small, so either a huge pickup truck or on foot like me, but cars aren't cost effective.

2 days ago when I was coming home from downtown during rush hour all the cars were blocking up the bike lanes. So since most of the cars were stationary I went through other lanes to get across down then got me some $6 special sushi spicy tuna roll.
