Hello Ms Eloiza Thank you for this episode. It is relevant. Lalo na ngayon pandemic. I'm a 53 year old doctor who have decided to do bike commute on a daily basis. Average of 30 to 40 km per day every day even on weekends. So this episode resonates with me. My reason is to manage my blood sugar. My mother died from complications of diabetes. So I decided to do a radical intervention of my lifestyle. My annual target is to do minimum 6000 km. This is already significant to me since I started from almost zero activity. I appreciate the topic of this episode. Please promote more bike to work content. Thank you and I appreciate this content.

I think bike commuters in the Philippines are very brave. The streets here are not really safe for cyclists. The so-called bike lanes are too narrow. anyway, someday our bike lanes may be a lot safer. Okay na muna ako sa UP diliman, iwas lang sa sangkatutak na stray dogs.

3hrs byahe ko noong d pa ko nagbike to work dahil sa traffic..simula nung bike to work na ako 30mins lang..sobrang laki ng natipid kong oras sa byahe,nadagdagan oras ko sa pamilya ko❤️❤️❤️

Bikecommuter ako for over 10 years. Antipolo-Makati 20km to 20km from. Through the hot summer and rainy season. Rain or shine. Mon-Friday yan tapos pag weekends long adventure rides naman. What made me decide to do it? Pag naka auto 2.5 to 3 hours one way. Pag nakabike 1hr lang, pag ginanahan at karga sa pidal kaya ng 45 min😁 natipid ko pa transpo allowance ko, at hindi nasayang oras ko, at nakapag ensayo pa ko. Later on when sustainability became part of my work, I realized that I saved on roughly 5.5 tons of Co2 emissions over the period had I used our car. And that made me smile 😊 unlike those stuck in traffic in their cages/cars I smile while I pedal to and from work. Ride safe and Eloi everyone!!!

True! Ang mga naka-bike at ang bike lane ay hindi sagabal sa daanan. Ang mga walang disiplinang driver ang sagabal sa daanan. Driver din ako pero mas pinipili ko pa ang mag bike commute kesa mag-car. Sa EDSA, dyan ka matutong mag-bike ng napaka safe at yung mga tamang diskarteng gagawin. Edsa ang daanan ko nung hindi pa nagagawa at natatapos ang Ortigas-BGC Link Bridge.

Bike to work for 1yrs and 6months before nag start yung pandemic nag commute ako from Caloocan to Q.Ave at Gumagastos ako ng 3016 per month sa pamasahe at super stress ako sa traffic at hirap sa pag commute noon. But now Na engaged ako sa Bike Commuting halos ang laking naitulong sa akin nito sa pag save ng oras at money at lalo na sa pag bawas ng timbang. From 75kg ang weight ko noon bago yung pandemic to 58kg ngayon . Naging Fit at strong ako. Saving time ang laking ginhawa from 2-3hrs ang Biyahe noon ngayon by using my bike nakukuha ko siya ng 1-1 1/2 hrs from Caloocan to Q.ave vice versa.

Salute to all bike to work! Nasubukan ko din lakarin from Makati to Mandaluyong para makapasok. Nagstart ako magbike nung pandemic kasi wala talaga ako masakyan going to work dahil ECQ 2020. Up until now na nakalevel alert na lang at halos "parang normal na ulit. Madami na pwede sasakyan pero mas pipiliin ko pa din magbike going to work. At mag long ride na din. Hehe 🤗

Im from Manila and worked before sa Makati, before ako magBike Commute inaabot ako ng 2-3hrs travel time. Pero nung nagstart ako magBike commuting, for only 30min nasa Makati na ako ehehe.. and now i am currently working in BGC, in just 40min nasa office na ako 😊. Salamat sa pagpromote ng Bike Commuting. Instead of wasting your time 2-3 hours sa traffic, you've save so much time because of bike commuting. 30 mins nandun ka na sa office mo because of bike commuting. QC to taguig, 45 mins lang because of bike commuting. Rather than spending my time sa traffic of 4hours a day.

This is a great content lalo na sa mga nagcocommute everyday papunta sa work. At mas maging open ang marami na ang pagbibisikleta ay hindi lang para sa leisure or sa karera. Ang bisikleta ay ginagamit talaga na "service" in general. Mabuhay ka ms Geri for promoting bike commuting and thank you ms Eloi for this beautiful content of cycling.

My job in NYC encourage us to bike to work, have been biking for 8 years now. We have a dedicated bicycle parking in our 2nd floor building plus lockers and shower. A healthy employee is a happy employee. I heard Leni Robredo is dedicating 14B for bicycle lanes infrastructure from North to South.

Nice content Idol, puna ko lang, dapat naka long sleeves din, mapa motorcycle or bicycle, protection sa skin and sa damit din (remember salo mo lahat ng usok, alikabok, etc) at kung pwede rin, mga gears like Knee/Elbow Pads, Gloves, in short Gears use by Motorcyclists. Geri, talaga true po talaga na maka save ng pamasahe if nag bike commute, it makes me happy seeing a bike commuter regardless sa gender because it helps our mother earth to lessen the pollution, and also bike commuting for me is fun and it’s like a hitting a two target in one stone kasi nakapunta ka sa work mu to duty and nakapag exercise pa at the same time, hopeful po ako na someday mas madagdagan ang bike lanes sa pilipinas at mas madami pa ang ma encourage na bike commute kasi mas medyu safe na po mag bike at will help po sa climate change and lessen po ang traffic, I’ve been bike commuting po almost two years na kahit hindi ko na perfect in a week na nag bike commute kasi sa schedule na work ko, but salute po ako sa bike commuter… ride safe po sa lahat ng bike commuter..

Hi! I am from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Ive been bike commuting since 2005 to work. Is a 5km trip. There are no bike-lanes here (only one on tourist area), so I need to be careful. There is no bike commuting culture here. Is minimal. You are both an inspiration!!

Time and money tlga ang natipid ko simula ng magbike to work ako. Date commute ako antipolo to sanjuan city halos 2 to 3hrs byahe. Pamasahe halos 300 balikan. Ngayon bike to work kaya ng 30 to 45 mins lang byahe. Wala pang pamasahe. Butas nga lang dn bulsa pgtinamaan ng upgradetis. Haha. Ridsafe saten lahat.

Great content Eloi. I’m a new subscriber and been watching your videos for a week now. Reid are good value bikes. Been commuting here in Melbourne, Australia for 6 years now. It’s really interesting to see how relax you both are in securing your bikes. I’d be very nervous to lock my bike that way here in Melbourne, had my Giant Cross City 0 stolen just after 3 days of buying it. I was a noob in locking my bike back then. lol 😂 Since then, I bought a d-lock or some call u-lock and make sure to lock my bike inside the rear triangle of my bike frame. You might want to do the same, i think it’s a good practice to do that especially for commuting. There’s alot of youtube videos about it. Anyways, all the best and always keep safe, i’ll be excited to watch all your videos. 👍🏻😀

I'm a newbie bike commuter in Metro Manila na babae din. Lagi nalang sabi sakin na 'hintay ka lang na maging mas okay ang biking culture bago ka magsimula'. While I do understand their concerns, I just want to be that 1 more person to populate the bike commuting community.

If mag papark ka in any place I always use (tissue / wet wipes) na dala ko/nyo for sure to prevent also gas gas issue sa parking sa kung sansan mo isasandal or i lolock yung bike, just a suggestion lang for everyone na mag bike to work or park anywhere, ride safe.

Miss E, The best commuter bike or urban bike. Some people also used for training and fitness. The Specialized turbo Vado. No throttle mid drive. You have option pedal assist or manual mode. With a pedal assist up to 46kph. Battery fully charge up to 130k and have option extended battery extra 65k. For a total 195k fully charge that’s good. Nice vlog. Always ride safe and God Bless. Bike commuter din ako pero baliktad kami ni Ate Geri, Mandaluyong to Makati namn ako. Same route din. Tama mas makakatipid ka sa time at money na din pag nag bibike to work ka. Kaya sana, mas ayusin pa nila ung mga bike lane, para mas marami ang mag bike to work at maging safe tayo lahat. Ms Eloi sana sumabay ka pauwi mas magugulat ka sa scenario lalo na pag rush hour at baka sumigaw ka ng bike bike dahil ung mga motor nasa bike lane na talaga at siksikan pa.

pucha kkamiss magbike! sguro pagtapos ko mapasok at maswelduhan sa public atty office, bili ako bago bike ung mas maayos at quality, tas if walang inquest sa weekends, papakaligaw ako sa mga makati mandaluyong area! nice vid madam nakaka enganyo!

Nakakabili pa naman ng bike below 15k with shimano tourney ( may 8 speed ding Shimano Tourney) kaso ngayon medyo mahirap nga lang. Sa budget na 18K makakahanap ka pa ng mas magandang bike 10 speed na. Brand name siguro kaya mahal and matibay naman yung aluminum frame at pag pang commute lang naman gagamitin tatagal talaga yan bs lang marketing ang lifetime warranty. And Cycling is not actually better than vehicles as you might thought kayo na lang bahala mag-research. - Peace po and ingat po sa pagbike

i have nothing against this brand, point out ko lang on that price, you can get a better bike. pero its all about the experience nung bumili ng bike. if ung bumili is happy with the bike, its good. good din na napakita ung experience ng commuter bike ng mga bike to work individuals.
