@@lib747 yeah, makes sense... Nonetheless, after that tight road that you've seen, there was a small wooden bridge which just people or bicycles could cross over. A motorbike would collapse that bridge. 😅
Those gates are installed usually to force bicycle riders to dismount, it's a safety feature so you don't crash into pedestrians that are walking on the main road. In Romania they use them near railways, for example, to force cyclists to stop and look before they cross. And yes, they are extremely annoying and not really designed for people with long bicycles :)

Although, you have to be insane to ride fast on that tight road and not slow down before reaching the end of it 😅. Bro, it was so annoying to me... so much work just to keep on moving forward 😄.
