Because of watching your channel, I've decided to do my very first bike tour next year. It will be be the North Coast 500 in Scotland. Its nothing like the distance you do, but I'm hoping it will be the start of a new passion. Thanks for the great vids mate.

Washington state is awesome. I’m a transplant from the Scottish highlands. Moved here in 2008 close to the Portland Oregon area actually, right across the the river. Looks like you had an excellent trip. One day I hope to do something like this. Cheers.

If I was just out for a ride, I would ride up to the 100k mark. However, on a long tour I’m sure I wouldn’t care! Of course, I’m counting miles (the rest of the world uses kilometers) so really doesn’t matter at all 😀. Just ride for the love of riding!

where do you find a person or people to tour with ? any advice for a first timer? yup I hate the rat race rather be broke and happy than have a few bucks and be so miserable that you only exist not live.

I was sad that you were in Washington, my home state when I was cycling the Canal du meres in France. I would have been happy to host you had I been home. However, as I cycled the canals, I recalled seeing your video riding in that area. I don't video anything but it was nice to see your efforts and it is nice to see that you got some nice weather during your stay in WA.
