The episode where the dog followed him over the high mountains - epic! The mood of the landscapes, his beautiful narration, the background music, the animals, the people . . . this summary shows less than 1 % of it only. Some of Iohans episodes capture you down to the bottom of your soul.

Utterly tragic that this guy has gone. He has left us all a real gift with these films. I never met him, I don't know him but I will never forget him. His journey ended but he left us these brilliant films. Rest In Peace !

Listening to your calm voice while narrating your passionate journey over inhospitable places (carrying your bike over/up deep ravines, mud, snow, sharp rocks, and who knows what else) I have nothing more but respect and a sense of loss difficult to describe. We never met in person but as an adventurer I know very well what it means to travel alone, in the middle of f****ing nowhere and in very strenuous circumstances. Iohan I miss you as if we were long time friends, we share the love for nature. RIP friend, loco de la bicicleta “gorda” y siempre con actitud positiva frente a los inconvenientes que hubieran hecho a muchos de nosotros abandonar. I just discovered you. I will watch everything. Ross to Dempster was an amazing adventure. This shows the depth of your experiences. I have been doing things in the American west since the 1980's, and you show how much more to experience. Knowing what I have overcome I can only imagine your obstacles and how you beat them.

Dude, I remember watching your videos back in 2014, you were in British Columbia at that point. I remember being blown away seeing you trucking through that blizzard in Alaska. I always remembered your story somewhere in the back of my mind. Especially now that I am visiting Alaska at the moment. I am so glad to see 5 years later! You are still completing your mission, seeing the beauty of the world and learning Spanish. Good luck on the rest of your travels and stay safe brother!
