Connecting two classic gravel regions - Dunoon & Aberfoyle, this three stage weekend offers some incredible riding through remote forests, around stunning lochs and over mountains.

Probably the best video you've shot and edited! Thoroughly enjoyed watching!! It's nearly midnight here in Australia, but I'm definitely going for a ride in the morning, especially after watching this! 👌 Thanks for the inspiration!

What an absolutely beautiful country! Reminds me a lot of my home, Colorado. Speaking of which, you need to make a trip out here Josh. ENDLESS amounts of gravel and stunning views. Just get accustomed to the altitude before venturing out 😉

Beautiful scenery complemented by beautiful filming, I too felt this to be one of your best. All I can think about now is riding in Scotland when the sun is out. I've toured the west and north coasts in summer when driving, and needed my Goretex when stepping out of the car. I still remember those ferries and peaked horizons. A cracker.

Another great video Josh. You have a real gift for videography. And my wife and I would love to see the "returning for the camera shots". We always feel for you, knowing you'll have to go back for the camera!

Awesome video dude, even better when it's roads, you know 😉 Not sure which way you came down into Stirling from Aberfoyle, but its worth going thro Thornhill and down Chalmerston Road, it runs parallel to the not so nice to ride A84.

Absolutely gorgeous part of the world and stunning riding Argyll and Bute and ' lower down' in South West Scotland Dumfries and Galloway are killing it for 'gravel' riding as will be evidenced by the Gralloch later this year which should set the area on fire as a destination for this type of riding... cracking video as well, I would also agree one of your best so far 👍

Wonderful views and footage. Scotland seems to be an amazing place! One thing I'm hoping to see more of in the future in your videos are some footage from yourself, perhaps off the bike seat...where you reflect on the day...in the evening after you have conquered a route...Have a safe ride and journey onwards!

Mr Reid. I just adore the way you compose your videos. The videography and music and talking bits in perfect harmony. Just a joy to watch. Question. What main camera gear do you use? Me personally I am trying to keep it to a minimum. Hopefully only my phone and an action camera perhaps. And a drone of course. Thank you.
@Josh-Reid
@Josh-Reid Год назад
For this video I used a canon r6 mark ii along with the iPhone, an insta 360 and a drone. The camera is quite bulky mind and I only use it if I’m going to be setting it up on a tripod. For an event I only use the iPhone and an action camera. The quality that comes out of a phone now is amazing.

G’Day Great Video Josh. I'm looking to get into gravel riding. I have an old hybrid giant bike heavy as 😂. What you reckon gravel bike vs Cross Country XC Bike I'm torn?
@Josh-Reid
@Josh-Reid Год назад
It really depends what you want to use it for. If you’re planning on doing more technical trails the mountain bike would be better. But a gravel bike is more versatile for a route a varied route being able to ride faster on the road and can be run with road tyres or much grippier off-road tyres.
