Bikepacking: Northeastern State Trail, Michigan: Day 1 (2020) 

Hi, my name is Andy and I am sharing my adventure bikepacking through northern Michigan! This was my first overnight bikepacking trip and I am now hooked! Only going 10-15 mph is a wonderful way to see the great mitten state and to take in the surroundings. I cycled through wonderful wooded forest, amber and green farm fields, over rivers and through historical towns!
The spand of the journey was from Cheboygan, MI to Aplena, MI about 70 miles total. This video is day 1 where I cycled close to 40 miles starting in Cheboygan and ending in Millersburg at the Ocequeoc State Falls Campground. I was nervous that I would not get a campsite because it was on first-come first-serve basis, but praise the Lord I found an open site and did not have to do any back-tracking to find another!
