Merci pour votre magnifique vidéo... Pouvez vous me dire le modèle de votre tente ?

Thank you, it was just a cheap folding bike from Amazon. It doesn’t look like it’s sold anymore

Great setup man, Im all about this. We are taking ebikes somewhere tomorrow to do similar. I would've liked to see you weather the storm but if you aren't prepared I get it.

Thank you! I really enjoy taking the ebike out, it really opens up your options when wanting to cover ground on a weekend. I appreciate your feed back as well. I really wanted to weather the storm and trusted my gear to hold up fine(it’s all been battle tested). I unfortunately had an early commitment the following day and wasn’t sure how things would play out with the weather. As a side note, the lower area where I camped ended up flooding the following morning.

Hey. I might be a bit late to this party, but is there any chance I could get some information on how you pack the bike for air travel? Do you box or bag it? Is it a checked bag or oversized? And how much does all that weigh and cost to fly with?

You’re not late at all. I did it the cheap but more frustrating way. I just used Voile straps to hold it together and carried it through the airport. They gate checked the bike and I picked it up from the gate when we landed. It didn’t cost anything extra and I felt that it was the safest cheap option. It’s not the lightest bike at about 35lbs, but it wasn’t terrible to carry it around. I will likely buy a cheaper bike bag next time I fly with it just for a little added protection. You don’t want anything to bulky since you’ll have to pack it on the bike once you get there. Hope this helps!

Any chance you could drop a reply and let me know what type of tent that is please?

looks like a Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo

Yep, Marc is right. It’s a six moon designs lunar solo. I can’t say enough great things about the tent. It sets up super quick and has kept me dry in 24hrs of straight rain. Very packable and more forgiving than dyneema. A word of note, it’s not a free standing tent so it’s pretty important to camp on a surface that you can get stakes in. www.sixmoondesigns.com/products/lunar-solo-tent
