Everyone heads for the West coast of Scotland for cycling, i know this'll be a shock but Scotland does have an East coast or the West coast would just be called 'coast'

Nice weather for Scotland in spring. You should do a bike trip to Sweden or Estonia with Juliet. Getting a decent diet is the hardest part of bike packing unless you take panniers or can get foods from shoos every few days.

Looks like fun, Five Ferries is my goal for this year and although I've never had the bike over Islay is lovely, spent a lot of time in Port Charlotte and visited most of the distilleries.

Wow i tried bike camping twice in the 1970s..once totally ruined by rain ( thank you Boy Scouts who allowed us to share their far better tents). The second on a tandem went really well. This is a great video
